Circle Q3: a big headline beat, but read the fine print.
Revenue $865M (est. ~$790M), but about $182M was one-time ARC token sales. Strip that out and reserve income fell 8% YoY to $658M.
I asked if USDC would get back to its $79.2B peak. It didn’t: $73.9B vs $73.3B last quarter.

First-half revenue was $1.4B, and $819M of it went to Coinbase and other distribution partners first. Circle keeps less than a tenth as net profit.
So when Circle reports on Nov 4, don’t just look at revenue. Watch whether USDC in circulation ($73.3B at the end of last quarter) can climb back to its peak of ~$79.2B.
My take: the business is big, but the economics depend on how much it shares. I care more about USDC supply than the headline number.

Last time I asked: does AMD’s data center clear $8B? It did: $8.55B (vs $6.7B last quarter).
Revenue $13.4B (est. ~$13.1B), non-GAAP EPS $2.09 (est. ~$1.94). Q4 guide ~$17B vs ~$16.1B expected. The stock jumped ~8% after hours, right around the ±8.9% the market had priced.

My take: direction is a coin flip (3 down, 2 up), but size is the pattern. The average move is ~10.4%, above the ~8.9% the market is pricing this time. Small sample, but it makes me respect the swing more than the implied number.
So I’m not betting on direction. I’m keeping my size small and watching the reaction. No. 6 drops Nov 3, 21:05 (UTC+7).

A week after @amazon earnings, the market is still arguing about one thing: capex.
AWS grew 39% YoY (vs 37% last quarter), with $17.8B operating income. Revenue $201.9B (est. $202.3B), EPS $1.89 (est. $1.96). Q4 revenue guide: $240-247B.
But 2026 capex is now about $220B, and the stock sold off despite the AWS acceleration.

The Bitcoin whitepaper has 9 pages. The 5 years I spent holding BTC became my own page 10.
In March 2020, while the market was in panic, I bought 5 bitcoin:native at around $4,000 per BTC, about $20,000 in total. Everyone asked, “Are you sure?” Honestly, I wasn’t sure about the price. I was only sure I understood what I was holding.
That’s what kept me steady when the market shook. I sold near the 2025 peak at a 30x+ return. It’s my best investment so far, but what I remember most isn’t the number. It’s staying calm while everyone else wavered.

PCE landed on target. GDP stole the show.
This isn’t a simple risk-on result. Core PCE came in at +0.3% MoM / +3.1% YoY right in line with expectations. No fresh inflation shock.
But Q3 GDP grew 3.4% annualized vs 3.2% expected, keeping the economy much stronger than the Fed would like to see before easing.
The mix:
🟢 No new inflation shock
🔴 Stronger-than-expected growth
⚠️ Potentially fewer reasons for faster rate cuts
The key question now: Is strong GDP good for risk assets or bad for rate cuts? If the dollar and 10Y yield rise together, BTC could stay under pressure. If both cool, risk assets get more breathing room.
The real debate isn’t the three numbers. It’s whether resilient growth keeps the Fed cautious.

Anthropic’s IPO valuation: which one are you betting on?

That’s a $500B gap. @AnthropicAI was valued at roughly $965B in its May funding round, meaning even the $1.5T scenario would put its IPO valuation more than 50% above its last private mark.
