From Model at Expo 2020 to a Temple of Worship in the UAE 🇮🇳🛕🇦🇪
I still remember visiting the India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and seeing the first majestic 3D model of BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi.
At that time it was a glimpse of the future. Today, it is reality.
The BAPS Hindu Mandir is now open — the first traditional Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi and a historic place of worship for the Hindu community in the UAE.
Seeing that model at Expo 2020, created with such detail in just 7 days, and then witnessing the actual mandir stand today is a powerful reminder of the UAE’s values of tolerance, harmony, and coexistence.
This temple is not just architecture. It is a symbol of friendship between India and the UAE, and a home of spirituality, peace, and service for millions.
Proud to have witnessed its journey from a model at Expo to a landmark in Abu Dhabi.
