Don't be scared of the blank page. Halloween is fast approaching, and the scariest thing might be running out of ideas. That's where my new brainstorming app comes in. Dream up creative campaign ideas and generate clever ads with a click.

Kiwis are an honest bunch and L&P knows their audience well. This roadside OOH billboard doubles an unattended honesty box.

The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

Just parallel parked so cleanly on the first try that I sat in the car for five minutes waiting for someone on the street to applaud. Nobody did, which is honestly a failure of the local community.

Idea: Replace your company logo with a live webcam of the founder's face so customers can gauge the daily vibe.

Epic, by far one of the best technical leaders in games, is saying no hand written code. If you're not doing the same you will be left behind. It is over for non-AI workflows.
We have a huge pivot underway here at Epic, moving developers around to retool for maximum AI acceleration. The aim isn't to do the same stuff with fewer people, but to enable everyone here to build MORE and BETTER stuff, and to bring the benefits to all teams using Unreal.

If someone with a brilliant imagination but zero drawing skills can finally bring their ideas to life using AI, that’s a good thing. The fact that this genuinely upsets some people tells me their problem isn’t creativity. It’s losing their monopoly on who gets to create.

This is important because it illustrates something about how people discuss AI. The anti-AI stance is based on social desirability, not quality. “AI-generated work is bad” is a politically correct answer people give to avoid trouble. In other words, it’s ideological enforcement.
The results are in. The Ariel pencil test was made with #AI. The color version is the original movie footage. I left both versions unlabeled because I wanted to see how people’s assumptions about AI would affect their judgment. While some of you spotted it right away (I even left a few clues, like the incorrect peg holes and random annotations), the majority of you criticized the color version thinking it was AI and praised the pencil test believing it was #GlenKeane’s original work. That’s the bias against AI I wanted to highlight. People were pointing out supposed AI flaws in the original Disney animation, while praising the AI-generated pencil test for its human touch. If you preferred the pencil version, you can still prefer it. The video hasn’t changed. Only what you know about it has.

Anti-ai does not make sense to me as an artist. My first film should have launched careers, sequels and legacies. The ONLY reason it didn't, is because i refused to "pay my dues" and sell out my family and friends who invested in it. I also refused to look the other way when it was clear my talent was on the menu. In the end, the broken distribution system was the only one who profited. After that, I refused to raise money for another film until an ethical financial system with built in accountability existed. I spent the next 12 years trying to raise money to build our own operating system. An end to end app if you will. Everything we need to run our operations, manage the audience experience and distribute the content. A lack of vision or access to ethical capital made it seem like I would never produce another film again. I felt destined to spend the rest of my life pitching the future only to watch it keep happening without me. Then in March of 2025 I copy and pasted files written by Grok in a crude effort to vibe code an MVP. I never set the laptop down again and have been building around the clock, even when i sleep, ever since. Today @Gratwickent is more developed than I expected it to be if we had secured the $10m we were negotiating in 2024 to build it over 3 years. We now have our operating system. My preference is to make it open source and use it to spend the rest of my life making our movies with great people. But, that requires you to care about whether that happens or not. It depends on whether or not you are one of those great people. Because without you, the platform and the model doesn't work as it's intended. It does however transfer perfectly to an independent AI studio platform. So, for the first time since I realize what my purpose is, I know one way or the other I'm going to spend the rest of my life making all of the stories and scripts I've stockpiled over the last 12 years of telling Hollywood to gfy. AI gave me that power, leverage and freedom. Not some studio or rich guy I would have made billions of dollars for by now if they simply moved in ethical ways.
