I've made (with Claude) a script to disable auto-updates on Virtual Desktop on v1.34.22. You'll have to provide the installer and it'll only work on local. It's a script, so as always check it thoroughly (tested on my machine) along with the README! mediafire.com/file/hifn51see…

Screw it. Virtual desktop dev has 0 care for the consent of their users. Forced update that bricks rooted headsets, forces meta telemetry & phoning home & bricked all previous versions $500 bounty to anyone who can forcefully opensource VD. Use Claude idc, just make it good

I should add, this is in no way a "cracked" version or open-sourced alternative. It's just a slightly modified installer and a firewall rule set to disable any calls home while keeping local area connections possible. Think of it as a temporal solution.

Virtual Desktop pushed an update without my consent that broke the app for ALL rooted Quest headsets I asked for a way to download older versions of the FREE Streamer App In response... they muted me in the discord Good job bro

I think there's something poetic about people being tired from an overexploited gaming industry and going back to play an old game named Burnout... Almost as if it was a cinema plot

Burnout 3 is underrated as one of the very, very best games of all time because you can show Burnout 3 footage to people two decades later and their reaction will still be "hell yeah, this rules. I wanna play this right now."

All hands on deck! This is the biggest threat to Stop Killing Games yet! The EU #KidsAct could end #StopKillingGames by collapsing the EU gaming market and making private and community servers illegal!: youtu.be/mQRcK9nYg9g "The best thing you can do is spread the word...The people who write this crap do not like it when the public at large knows what they're trying to do to you" - @accursedfarms Don't just take our word for it, here's the EU Kids Act to see for yourself.
