Build new prototypes and apps with a built-in database. It's hard to understate how helpful Payload is, and its editing UI for looking at what's in the database and editing it.
My personal favorite use case has been using it as an authoritative database for video games. High scores, account settings, saved state - all added with 1 prompt, and available in a UI for me to debug and check out.
Building powerful apps has never been easier.
Code is a design medium, now as a first class primitive in Figma.
Historically, working in code is single threaded and single player. You work in one branch, on your machine with one window open. You share slowly with others via screenshots or git.
But as we've seen with Figma Design, multiplayer with your teammates and their agents makes it so much easier to explore, and then take the best of each idea. Now you can do that with Code Layers.
This project has been a labor of love - with lineage through Code layers in Sites and Make. Proud of the team!
Today at Config India, we announced new ways of building in Figma
→ Collab with code on the canvas with Code Layers (open beta)
→ Shape and share context with Specs (open beta)
→ Give your agent more design system context with Guidelines (open beta) and Code Sources (closed beta)
→ Ship websites with Payload (rolling out in the coming weeks)
Figma Agent is generally available today! 🚀
Proud of the team for hitting this milestone after relentless work on quality, cost, and latency.
Open Figma, click Agent on the left, and give it a spin! You won't regret it :)

📣 Today we're launching the brand new @HypernaturalAI to make AI video work for brands! Let’s be honest: a lot of AI video is slop 🤮.
Generators can get…close. But if you’re telling a story about your product, close isn’t good enough.
If you’re in Chicago near Woodland Street and 57th Street around 3 PM today, my kids are running a special pop-up lemonade and brownie stand—hope to see some of you there!
We made a video in @HypernaturalAI to celebrate the lemonade stand and Hypernatural’s big launch today. It’s been awesome to see Hypernatural make it faster and easier to make videos with AI! 🚀

Figma Make, now on your local code
In limited beta starting today, you can visually edit and ship changes by connecting Make to your codebase
At Figma, we use our products to design in every way: design layers, prototypes, and now, production code

→ Net Dollar Retention Rate increased to 139%, our highest rate in over two years
→ Raising 2026 revenue guidance for the year
Design matters more than ever.
Takeaways from chatting with Keyvan Azami at @uxdxconf today on "The Collapse of Product Teams":
1. Idea → artifact → code in prod — used to cross 3–4 roles and multiple handoffs. It now fits in a single workflow.
2. The bottleneck didn’t disappear — it moved. Teams aren’t as blocked on writing code anymore; they’re blocked on CI, flaky tests, and reviewing large volumes of AI-generated diffs. And on deciding what to build, and validating it.
3. For AI products, evals are a new key part of the workflow. At Figma, Design owns the eval set, PM/Research define rubrics, Engineering owns the pipeline. It’s no longer a side task — it’s the product.
AI is compressing the distance between idea and reality — and who contributes to product quality. At @uxdxconf today, @jpay, Vicky Chin and I chatted about the shift:
It’s no longer about *can teams ship faster?*
It’s about *can they still make good decisions* when everyone builds quickly?
A few takeaways:
1. “Everyone owns quality” sounds right — but breaks without clear accountability
2. AI doesn’t remove ownership — it raises the bar for judgement, and makes craft more important than ever
3. The bottleneck is moving from creation → review, coherence, and taste
4. Weak process gets exposed fast: AI makes good teams better and bad habits scale
5. Guardrails (evals, rubrics, critical journeys) are becoming core product infrastructure
