The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has published its monthly operational report for October 2026, outlining attacks and engagements across 17 areas of Balochistan, including Kalat, Mand, Turbat, Surab, Chagai, Gwadar, Nushki and Mastung. In a statement attributed to its spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, the group claimed to have conducted 25 organised attacks during October, resulting in the deaths of more than 129 Pakistani security and intelligence personnel, with over 30 others reportedly wounded. The BLF also acknowledged the deaths of 31 of its own fighters during the same period. Key Claims in the Report: • Operation Almas — Gwadar: The BLF described the operation as its most significant activity of the month, claiming that more than 80 military and intelligence personnel lost their lives and dozens wounded. It also claimed to have destroyed military infrastructure and armoured vehicles, seized control of a police station, and brought down four quadcopters and two surveillance drones. • Military Installations and Convoys: The group claimed attacks on seven military checkposts, six main camps and two intelligence offices. It further reported ambushing 11 military convoys and establishing three highway blockades. • Equipment and Infrastructure: The BLF claimed to have destroyed 14 military vehicles, 15 commercial trucks and trailers, two surveillance drones, five quadcopters, a ground surveillance camera and a mobile tower. It also claimed to have seized a government vehicle. • Reported Methods: The report listed ambushes, heavy weapons, grenade launchers, sniper fire, intelligence-based operations and remote-controlled IEDs among the methods used. It also claimed responsibility for one suicide attack. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has released its monthly operational report for October 2026, claiming to have carried out 331 operations across several regions of Pakistan. According to the group’s report, most of the claimed activity was concentrated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. South Waziristan reportedly accounted for 113 operations, followed by North Waziristan with 54, Bannu with 37, Tank with 22, Peshawar with 20, Dera Ismail Khan with 19 and Khyber with 16. Other areas mentioned in the report include Lakki Marwat, Karak, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kohat, South Punjab and Makran.
