The difference in media amenities and experiences between Intuit Dome and Crypto [dot] com Arena over this last week was insanely staggering, from parking to food to seating to ease. Itβs genuinely startling to see how bad Crypto has gotten compared to other situations. Itβs sad.

This is what the highlight-tape scouts complaining about lack of separation missed with Keaton Wagler.
No surprise he's settling in nicely.

Florida State head coach Luke Loucks' recruiting pitch to Shon Abaev in the transfer portal:
"Shon, you want to play in the NBA? I'm just telling you your efficiency is abysmal. Your shot selection is terrible. You don't guard anyone. You don't rebound. It seems like you're only interested in playing when the ball goes in the hoop. And the ball didn't go in the hoop."
Damn. π

Why would the police enable such stupidity?

Brendan Haywood says the NBA has lost its offensive identity, arguing that every team now runs the same pace and space, pick and roll system instead of having its own style of play.
Haywood points to the early 2000s, when the Lakers ran the Triangle Offense, the Kings relied on high post action, and Jason Kiddβs Nets used the Princeton Offense. He believes that variety made teams more distinct and harder to prepare for. He also criticizes modern big men for posting up from the three point line instead of taking advantage of smaller defenders near the basket, arguing that the NBA needs to bring back more diverse offensive systems.
