Devin Reno

Let me tell you something straight from the heart. I fell out of love with pro wrestling once the attitude era pretty much ended. WCW gone and WWF became WWE. And WWE was no longer the kind of wrestling I was looking for. I became all about UFC/MMA etc as i once was a karate student and tournament competitor myself. All the way up until 2018 when my military disabilities caught up to me and took that all away. Shortly after my competitive life ended, a new pro wrestling company (AEW) came into the spotlight and I started enjoying pro wrestling again. However, what made me “love” pro wrestling again was the independent scene. Until I was introduced to independent wrestling, I had no idea just how wonderful it was. At time, much better than any big promotion and the content they put out. This summer, when I had to be pretty much bedridden while recovering from double major back surgeries, i discovered @beyondwrestling / #WrestlingOpen. For two nights a week, it has given me much enjoyment. These talented wrestlers out there proving themselves in that ring. Not for the money or some cheap gimmick of a storyline. They are doing it for their pure love of the business. Now, it saddens me to see that this wonderful promotion is in danger of losing their Monday Night slot in Cranston RI. That would mean that the hard working Indy stars we see there on Monday’s would lose that platform to showcase their talent. If I was a millionaire, I step in and make sure none of this happens. But I’m not. I’m a well to do guy who can afford to travel and support Indy wrestling. And a guy who can sponsor these wrestlers each week. Now, I’m calling on all other persons who love and want to support Indy wrestling as much as I do. We need to sponsor these wrestlers. We need to have people show up to the shows so they can sell enough tickets to keep the show going. I know the east coast has a very high population of wrestling fans as there is a lot of Indy promotions who operate out of that area. Partnerships, sponsorships etc. What can we all work together to do in order to keep Wrestling Open going both nights of the week? Let’s all do what it takes! I’d be there live both nights every week in person if I was an east coaster.

Here we go! Main event time! Time for my main man, the man who had his championship win stolen from him, to get what’s rightfully his! Let’s go @DVN_RNO ! Tranquilize the bear! @bearbronsonBC ! Good luck to both men. @beyondwrestling #WrestlingOpen
