Found at the local Superstore! On sale!!! Even found my size, which is a rarity! But it was clearly designed for guys, so it was waaay too long/narrow, and obviously no "amazing chest ahead" space.
Eh. I always knew it: genders are such a scam π€£π
Awesome that Steam is doing a special bird sale event!.. However, unfortunately, the bird nerd in me was already familiar with at least 90% of the games featured. But I'd like more bird events in the future, please!!! ππ

Returning back to being artistically productive AND in the right mood is very hard. VERY HARD.
If you've ever been a creator, you are probably familiar with this feeling.
I'm looking forward to returning back into art, since art is the refuge I possibly need the most lately.
Suddenly, I see this on Steam.
Hmmm.
Nope, never heard of this country π

P.S. And yes, I usually do read what's written in a small print, lol
To stop swearing, one gotta replace swear words with other, totally appropriate words.
From now on, the new one for me will be BUSHTIT. Because I'm a bird nerd, so it's applicable. π¦
So now every time I don't like something, I'll be like, "What's this bushtit?!"
Playing Hellpoint. Perhaps imperfect, but an absolutely beautiful gem made by a Canadian studio. Unfairly forgotten.
Revisiting Hellpoint is purely delightful to me. I'm mindblown by the designs and extreme subtlety of storytelling, even more so than on our last playthrough.
You know that you're definitely a 100% bird nerd when you make a Keep note named "Interesting places to see next time when in X town", and every single item on the list is a birding hotspot. π¦π¦

I might be one of those rare kinds of outdated peeps who still manually check out their favourite accounts on social medias.
As if it's 2005 again.
It never changed for me, really.
I hope there are other weird outdated peeps like myself, who check out my accounts manually, too.

When Microsoft wanted people to take Windows 95 seriously for gaming, they used DOOM.
They made a promo where Bill Gates appeared in a trench coat inside the game world.
Microsoft basically used hell demons to sell Windows.

Not that you asked, but I'm a huge fan of mall vaporwave. It's a tribute to the 80's vision of the future β malls, where everyone would hang out forever. Of course the dream didn't last. This is the best look back at that era: youtube.com/watch?v=FZUfiW3Wβ¦ #vaporwave
Better late than never. As usual, I just dropped out for a few months.
That's because this dinosaur finds it hard to navigate modern socials.
... Although I'm not yet fully a dinosaur in our DnD campaign. Yet.

Just read about all the drama surrounding Starsand Island and that it's been pulled out from Steam.
Tetris, huh? That's interesting π
I would've given it a try maybe, but the anime art style just bothers me.
Eeeeew.

Iβve sold 60 copies of my first game.
No publisher. No team.
Just me, working from my living room.
I make niche games most people will probably never play.
But I love drawing every frame, composing the music, building these worlds.
So I keep going.
Browsed Tumblr tags, came across something that made me thoughtful.
So, we could say, there's original art and UNoriginal art.
Which sounds pretty offensive to the artists at the first glance, especially considering art as a phenomena and its nature...
