You could trade hundreds of markets on DXS. What you could not do was outgrow one pool: its size capped your volume and your profits.
DXS Terminal is designed to keep what you already use: an isolated entry for every trade, a stop loss in 2 clicks, your total risk in one figure. And to put third-party on-chain liquidity behind your trades.
Same DXS way of trading, designed so the pool's size no longer sets your limit.
DXS Terminal has been in development for over a year. We will announce the launch date within 2 weeks.
Trade at your own risk.

Liquidity can be brought in. A way of trading cannot. So the DXS Terminal retains the risk-first approach.
Every entry gets its own stop loss, set in 2 clicks. Your total risk across every open entry, in one figure. One clutter-free screen: the trade, and nothing else.
It shows in who stays profitable. "Day Trading for a Living?", a University of São Paulo study, found 3% of Brazilian day traders who persisted were profitable. On DXS, 28% of traders are profitable, all-time, deductions included.
Different group, different study. We believe the risk-first flow is part of why. Our plan takes it to third-party on-chain liquidity, where one pool's thin liquidity no longer holds it back.
Tomorrow: the whole road, in one Article.

Where the fees go: 100% of DXS Terminal fees are converted into BSV for the DXS liquidity pool and its liquidity providers, to repay liquidity stakes and bring profit recovery closer for affected traders.
DXS Terminal is designed to record every trade on the BSV blockchain, even trades filled by external liquidity. Whatever the liquidity, BSV stays the source of truth.
The original BSV-powered pool keeps running as it does today -- on the same dxs.app domain. Terminal with external liquidity gets a sub-domain terminal.dxs.app or app.dxs.app (TBD) -- fees back to BSV.

Here is the solution we found, and what we have been building: DXS Terminal.
One app, one gateway to on-chain venues. On-chain no longer means crypto only: stocks, commodities and forex trade on-chain too. DXS Terminal puts them behind one risk-first screen, with external liquidity behind it.
We did not abandon the liquidity engine without market makers -- on the contrary -- 100% of DXS Terminal fees route back to BSV pool. Original liquidity engine needs more traders and a growing BSV community to stand on its own. Until then, external liquidity carries it.
DXS Terminal is not live yet. We will announce the launch date within 2 weeks.

The original DXS liquidity engine began with one bet: the trader across from you could be another trader, not a market maker.
Get enough traders into one pool and they become each other's liquidity. Your trades stay private unless you choose to share them. We made that case on Medium, article after article.
In April 2025 we chose to move anyway. DXS would bring in external liquidity, market makers included, the very thing our pool was built to do without.
It put our founding goal on hold, so DXS could grow again.

Today on DXS there are no market makers, trading profits are paid out of trading losses and pool, autonomously. Profit deductions are the pool's last resort, the risk disclosed from day one in the sign-up disclaimer and the terms. For years deductions rarely happened. Then the pool thinned with BSV's price, and they became frequent.
April 2025. BSV's price fell again, past every scenario we had planned for, and it stayed there. Liquidity on DXS became even thinner. Our growth hung on a price we did not set.
Two roads were left. Wait for traders to fill the pool, however long BSV stayed low. Or bring liquidity in from outside.

Ethereum. Polygon. Tron. TON, the chain behind Telegram.
We connected DXS to all four, so stablecoins could reach our BSV-powered pool. The first stablecoin traders came.
But while we built those bridges, BSV's price kept falling. Our pool's depth moves with BSV's price, so the longer we built, the thinner liquidity on DXS became.
Stablecoin traders need deep liquidity from day one. By the time they could reach us, the pool couldn't offer it.

Bridging sounds simple. On BSV it wasn't.
The stablecoins we wanted live on account-based chains like Ethereum. BSV is a UTXO network: it moves coins like cash, not account balances. The two don't fit together without a token layer on BSV.
So we joined forces with the team behind STAS, a token protocol on BSV, and contributed significantly to the infrastructure around it: a STAS wallet, an indexer, and the smart contracts that connect stablecoins from other chains.
That layer is what lets a stablecoin from another chain arrive on BSV. The tech worked, but it was not enough. To be continued...

Crypto runs on stablecoins, mostly USDT and USDC. Anyone who wants to grow in this market has to let their holders in without friction. DXS is no exception.
The catch: DXS runs on BSV, and BSV has no native stablecoin. Back then it had no infrastructure for one either.
We could have issued our own stablecoin. We didn't: too costly, too heavy a regulatory load, and not a job for a trading app.
So we took the other road: a bridge that carries the stablecoins people already hold over to BSV, so they can trade on our BSV-powered pool with the money they already hold.

We've been quiet since May this year.
Starting tomorrow, one chapter a day: how we got stuck, and the solution we're building to (1) get DXS growing again, (2) raise payouts to liquidity providers and (3) bring profit recovery closer for affected traders.
Growth of DXS stopped, but volumes remained stable. Over the past 12 months, DXS averaged $700k in volume a day and paid its liquidity providers about $60 a day.

WHAT HAPPENED TO BSV?
Most people know the first half of the answer.
Far fewer have looked at the second.
In 2024, the High Court rejected Craig Wright’s claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto. The ruling landed on a network already carrying years of conflict, reputational damage and steep price decline.
That is part of the record. This is not an attempt to minimize or relitigate it.
But a judgment about one person was never a judgment on everything other people would build.
Look at just the past two weeks:
A small robot accepted 100 satoshis per command, verified each payment itself in 81 milliseconds, then moved. Every direction had its own on-chain transaction. The entire night of testing cost about three cents. It was built in one evening on BRC-105.
HandCash publicly asked whether it should release a BRC-100 wallet, then previewed an open-source, peer-to-peer, BRC-compliant self-hosted wallet. Wallet interoperability is moving from a specification toward competing implementations.
BSV Browser v1.5.6 reached Android, putting user-held keys, identity and micropayments inside an open-source, vendor-neutral browser. Independently, another developer built a BRC-100 wallet dashboard with per-application spending budgets.
A public risk review of BRC-100 prompted a detailed technical exchange. An overstated claim was acknowledged and corrected, the guidance was revised, and the remaining risks stayed open for debate.
That last example matters as much as the products do. Healthy engineering is not the absence of criticism. It is criticism producing better specifications, clearer responsibilities and stronger implementations.
None of this proves BSV has “won.”
It does not erase past mistakes, guarantee adoption or exempt anyone’s work from hard questions.
It proves something narrower—and more useful:
The correct tense is not “died.”
BSV today is a live builder experiment around a specific thesis: keep the base protocol stable enough to reduce repeated political fights, publish open standards above it, encourage independent implementations, and judge the result by reliability, developer experience, adoption and user value.
That is not a claim to moral superiority. It is a design choice. It should be evaluated by what it produces.
Adam is right about one narrow point: consensus determines what a network accepts.
But that is different from permission to experiment. Different groups can test different ideas. Developers, users, miners and markets ultimately decide what earns a future.
So, what happened to BSV?
A public identity story collapsed.
Price and reputation took heavy damage.
The builders kept going.
And lately, their work has become much harder to dismiss without first looking at it.
You do not have to approve of BSV. You do not have to agree with its design choices.
Just update the record.
Remember when Bitcoin did not need permission?
The builders remember.

Useful infrastructure step.
Developers should not need a large operating budget — or dependence on one gateway — to connect applications directly to a public network.
The $5 VPS detail is small. The larger direction is independently operated access to BSV Blockchain becoming easier.

Introducing self-hosted Infura for BSV. On a $5 VPS.
Today the DXS team is shipping Consigliere 2.0 (alpha): we welcome testers to find bugs and try the brand-new UI (see video).
Every developer can now run their own instance on a $5 VPS and talk to the network directly.
Decentralized access to a decentralized network. → github.com/dxsapp/dxs-consig…
How does it work: Consigliere is based on a so-called thin BSV node.
It doesn't store the full chain. It connects straight to the network nodes over their own P2P protocol — a full participant, just lightweight.
Why that matters:
Before, broadcasting a tx or checking a balance meant interacting with API — WhatsOnChain, Bitails, JungleBus. Now you, as a developer or picky user, can talk to the network yourself. Providers stay only as a fallback and as independent witnesses for verification (see on video).
So every user reaches the network directly: broadcast, refresh balances, recover a wallet, read tx history — all on their own machine or a $5 VPS. No third-party services needed.
Under the hood: an indexer with a built-in light node: effectively a pruned node with no sync required.
Possible only on Bitcoin (BCH and BTC included).
Alpha's live → github.com/dxsapp/dxs-consig…
Comes with full STAS 3.0 support @StasToken

As per the below warning from @handcashapp, some DXS trades paid via Handcash are being invalidated after opening (only Handcash users are affected).
Some transactions are initially confirmed as broadcast to the network, which opens the trade as expected. However, in a small number of cases, those transactions later fail to be included in a block and are dropped. When that happens, the corresponding DXS trade is invalidated after it has already been opened.
