Edit: European Jews exploited the Black Civil Rights Movement to improve their social status (check Cruse, "The Crisis of the Negro Intellectual"). The outcome? Jews were assimilated into whiteness (check Brodkin, "How Jews Became White Folks") and are now one of the wealthiest and most successful ethnic groups in the US.
