Peter Lynch returned 29% a year running Fidelity's Magellan Fund from 1977 to 1990, nearly double the S&P 500.
His simple rule for valuing a stock: "The p/e ratio of any company that's fairly priced will equal its growth rate."
Divide the P/E by the growth rate and you get the PEG ratio. Under 1 means the stock is cheap relative to its growth.

Data center revenue grew 117% to $89B last quarter, and Nvidia guided to $108B of total revenue for fiscal Q3 as Vera Rubin ramps into full production. It reports on November 17.

AMD $AMD now expects revenue to grow more than 80% in 2027!!
On the call Lisa Su said customers expanded their EPYC and Instinct deployment plans since last quarter and AMD has locked down more supply (wafers, substrates, packaging, memory). So it now expects server revenue to double in 2027, data center AI to grow even faster than it projected 90 days ago, and data center to be more than 80% of total revenue.
Why it matters: by my math, 80%+ on top of about $52B this year (Q1-Q3 actuals plus the ~$17B Q4 guide) points to $93B+ in 2027 vs $85.9B consensus . That's more than double AMD's own long-term model from last November, IMO the biggest number of the night.
"Based on our current visibility, we now expect revenue to grow more than 80% in 2027, which is more than twice the long-term financial model we outlined at our financial analyst day last November," Su said.
