Had a great conversation with former @NortheastCCMS standout and @FCDallas draft pick @nedouard22 about his time in Norfolk. His jersey hangs retired in Hawks’ coach Adam Potter’s office. Just one of the many nods to what Nys meant to the program. norfolkdailynews.com/select/…

Sometimes players can leave such a profound impact in one spot that they remain relevant well beyond their playing days.

Belina is now up to 2,184 yards this season. He sits 1,001 yards shy of Austin Stuhr's record of 3,185 set in 2016. Would be a pretty big undertaking and Howells-Dodge would have to make a run to the finals, but certainly not out of the realm of posibility. #nebpreps

A little overcast in Creighton tonight as the No. 6 Bulldogs ready to face No. 11 Wilcox-Hildreth. Both teams boast multi-dimensional offenses, which should make for an exciting game. Follow along for updates: #nebpreps

Drew Blank scores his sixth TD of the day (3 pass, 3 rush) on a 9-yard rush. Creighton crowd not in this game after the Nilson injury. Bulldogs down 38-22, but have not been able to get a clean snap off all quarter. 10:30 to go.

Nilson not in uniform for Creighton out of the half. Jaxson Woods was taking snaps before the end of the second quarter. Robinson LaDeaux will also be an option. Tough break for the Bulldogs who have dealt with injuries the past two seasons. Worst part of sports. #nebpreps
