Yesterday was a tough day. Went up to Marysville to watch them sell my late brother in laws cow herd. He built it from nothing to roughly 100 momma's. 20 years of work. He loved working with cattle and he also worked at the sale barn that sold them, it was tough for them too.

They kept 8 pairs and two 4H cows to keep at the house and keep the kids doing chores, so still will have some of Ryan's legacy there. We bought two bred cows to add a little of Ryan's flavor to our herd, wish we could have bought more. They all sold good.

Go back to extremely regional conferences (fifedoms as someone put it). Allow one transfer w/o penalty would fix a lot of the problems but won't happen. Nobody is getting hyped up for Nebraska/Washington, OU/S Car. But Nebraska/OU has got a lot of juice. LHN/ESPN ruined the sport
