Let’s look at the reality of the army Lula is actually talking about. This army does not have stealth bombers, nuclear submarines, or drone swarms. It does not have Silicon Valley servers, Wall Street hedge funds, or CIA black budgets. This army is made of 64 million factory workers, landless peasants, and favela residents. Their weapons were not missiles. Their weapons were social networks that bypassed Silicon Valley censorship. Their weapons were the physical streets of São Paulo, where they mobilized in the millions to physically drag their candidate across the finish line. Their ultimate weapon was an absolute, unbreakable refusal to let the Bolsonaro dynasty sell their oil and rare earth minerals to the US empire. The empire fears no foreign military on earth. But it is absolutely terrified of a working class that remembers its own power.
