Today marks a major milestone in my psychedelic journey. @atai_life (Nasdaq: $ATAI), the psychedelic medicine company I founded in 2018, has announced the merger with @BeckleyPsytech — positioning atai, soon to be renamed atai Beckley, as the undisputed leader in the field of psychedelics. Just as exciting: traditional pharma is finally entering the psychedelic space. Ferring Ventures, part of @ferring, has built a 7.5% stake in atai — accumulating shares on the open market over the last months and now investing an additional $20 million alongside the acquisition.
