Strong story by @DanMurphyESPN on the obstacles facing the Protect College Sports Act in the House.
*Employment and realignment loom large. Along with a "grab bag of random things" like scheduling/season length that may not fall under federal purview
*Timing and Ted Cruz "fan fiction" of house returning to vote before election.
*The Congressional Black Caucus remains opposed and says "the bill's authors haven't been willing to engage in serious conversations."

College sports has always been a business, but the House settlement just made it even more of a business.
Who gets the money? Will competitive balance shift? Will programs be cut?

My response to Coach Tuckers statement:
“This is just more of the same DARVO, deflection, victim blaming and lies that I’ve been dealing with now for months.
Coach Tucker has been delaying and trying to stop the investigative process since the beginning. He can’t afford to go to a hearing that determines credibility of the participating parties. I believe this statement is his way of getting out of participating in the hearing.
October 5th and 6th I will be present for the hearing and make myself available for cross examination by his attorney Jennifer Belveal. I invite him to do the same.”
NEW: Mel Tucker doubled down on his claim that he is innocent of any wrongdoing in a statement Monday.
His statement, however, directly contradicts the statements he previously made to the Title IX investigator.
