Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today at his office with the heroes of the flight from Dubai: Yaniv Hayun, Or Pardilov, Dr. Shota Musayev and his wife Sigalit: "The entire world sees the Israeli heroism. You will light a torch of civic heroism on Independence Day."
The Prime Minister heard their harrowing testimony about the struggle to save the plane: "We tied the stabbing pilot with the headphone cable. He was saying 'Kill me' โ meaning that he failed at his mission and prefers to die".
The Prime Minister told them that with supreme heroism, resourcefulness, and faith they prevented a huge disaster and saved many lives.
Prime Minister Netanyahu also said: "I urge the citizens of Israel to learn from you, to keep their eyes open and be vigilant. We are in a very sensitive time. There is an intent of our enemies to harm us".
Flydubai has temporarily suspended flights between Israel and Dubai following an incident on flight FZ1073. Thousands of Israelis remain in the UAE without scheduled flights home.
Israair and Arkia have already prepared aircraft for evacuation flights, with the first expected on October 2. El Al is also considering participation. The airliners are to fly to Dubai without passengers to pick up Israelis and bring them back.
However, the exact timing and feasibility of departures have not yet been determined. The main issue is coordinating Shabak security requirements with UAE authorities.
It is expected that the state may pay for the repositioning of empty planes to Dubai, while passengers will purchase return tickets at their own expense. A final decision on financing and fares has not yet been made.
Flydubai has not yet announced a date for the resumption of regular flights and stated that it is helping passengers find alternative flight options.

A PLUMBER FROM ROW 16 MAY HAVE JUST STOPPED ANOTHER 9/11.
Netanyahu told Hannity tonight that on a flight from Dubai to Israel, one pilot attacked the other, reportedly with an axe, and the plane started nose-diving with 174 people on board. The wounded Indian pilot, bleeding badly and fighting for his life, still managed to unlock the cockpit door.
An Israeli passenger named Hayoun ran up from row 16, got knocked off his feet as the plane swerved, and still made it into the cockpit. He pulled the attacker off the controls, grabbed the stick and pulled it back. Other passengers and crew piled on the attacker until the reserve crew could get the plane steady.
Netanyahu asked him how he did it, and he said he just had to. His family was on that plane. When Netanyahu asked what he does for a living, the man said he's a plumber.
That wounded pilot and that plumber are heroes, and I'm praying the pilot pulls through. Regular people with guts are still the last line of defense when evil shows up at 30,000 feet.

US Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy for Syria and Iraq Tom Barrack stated that one theory behind the Israeli strike on a Syrian air base is that Israel attempted to "push" Turkey into a military response.
In an interview, Barrack said he did not know why Israel struck the Abu al-Duhur air base, but he offered several possible explanations.
According to him, Israel warned Washington of intelligence indicating the movement of Turkish military forces in the area, but Barrack said that a check conducted by US intelligence agencies showed that no such movements had taken place.
Israel did not warn either Washington or Ankara before sending its fighter jets to the Turkish border, he added. He recalled how Turkey shot down a Russian plane near the Syrian border in 2015 and called flights in the area without warning dangerous.
