Beginning today, Tuesday Sept. 5, the City of Danbury Public Works Department will be conducting road construction on Miry Brook Road and Briar Ridge Road.
This construction will not result in road closings, but there is the possibility of travel restrictions during this time.

The Patriot Parking Garage will be open free of charge starting at 5:00 PM to accommodate those who need space to comply with this weather emergency.

Starting Monday 11/14 CT DOT will be resurfacing I84 Exit 1 Eastbound and Westbound. Drivers can expect lane closures on Exit 1 ON and OFF ramps from Saw Mill Road to the New York State Line. DOT plans to work on this project from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tonight Danbury PD became aware of a social media threat regarding Danbury High School. Officers were able to quickly identify a suspect and determine the threat was not credible. A juvenile was arrested.
There will be an increased police presence at Danbury High School tomorrow
