I was so happy to get the chance to talk about @starwars on air for @kfxkfox51 this morning! However, @StarTrek fan @wxprobrian told me I might have gone overboard with my nerd knowledge...You be the judge @rianjohnson @HamillHimself

Blatantly political ad (taken from 2024 campaign speech) paid for by your/my tax dollars airs during NFL game. Standards once eroded seldom are restored so hope everyone is cool with this from now on.

This Austin ICE shooting is pretty incredible. They smashed the DoorDash driver's car. They shot the driver in the back. They pull them out of the car. Tear open his shirt. Confirm he's been shot. Take him to the hospital. Remove him 4 hours later with the bullet still in him and bring him to detention center for questioning, refusing to tell his family where he is. Apparently he's still there with the bullet in him today, without pain meds, without seeing his family, without seeing counsel, and with ICE doing its own investigation into itself.
A man was shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, according to the Austin Police Department, prompting protests at the scene and backlash from local officials. ABC News’ Melissa Adan has the latest. abcnews.visitlink.me/k9utb-

MAGA literally canceled an election to wipe out a Black district. This is Jim Crow 2.0. Don’t stay silent.

I want to thank Senator John Cornyn for his years representing our state.  We don’t agree on everything, but we both still believe in public service. To Senator Cornyn’s supporters: you have a place in our campaign.

HOLY CRAP! Alex Jones and Marjorie Taylor Greene just warned America about Trump trying to stay in power after his term expires. "That type of behavior is someone planning an idea over and over and over again. He constantly says it so that he can normalize the idea and test the support and test people's reactions, but saying it over and over and over again normalizes the idea. And I think it's incredibly dangerous and no one should ever accept it. Absolutely, absolutely not. There cannot be a third term. No, that's against our laws." Wake up America. When even these two are warning us about Trump you know it's getting serious.

It was an honor to have been the lifeguard at his 11th birthday party. I didn’t realize I was protecting a future Carolina Panthers from chlorine toxins, running dangers, and poop in the pool.
Former Georgia Tech QB Haynes King is signing with the Panthers on a deal that includes $250,000 guaranteed, source said.

Gas prices in NC are nearing the national average at $4 a gallon, and we all know why. It's absurd.

Trump on TSA funding: "I'm suggesting to the Republican Party do not make any deal on anything" Congress leaves town tomorrow for 2 weeks. They aren't going to have TSA money before they go. Blame the GOP and Donald Trump for all of this.
