π¨π΅π± BREAKING: Police raid Polish Constitutional Tribunal as PM Donald Tusk's government moves against its president, in what opponents are calling an illegal coup d'Γ©tat.
β’ Police entered the premises of Polandβs Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw on Friday and the courtβs president, Bogdan ΕwiΔczkowski, was suspended, in the latest escalation of a long-running dispute over the institution.
β’ Officers said they moved in after incidents outside the court, including the throwing of dangerous objects at police. The tribunal confirmed the suspension of its president on its website.
β’ President Karol Nawrocki turned his plane around mid-flight and aborted a trip to Senegal, stating on X: βAt a moment like this, the President must be in Poland. I am cutting short my flight to Senegal. I am returning.β
β’ Opposition leader JarosΕaw KaczyΕski has described the police action as a βcoupβ against the Constitutional Tribunal involving services under the government of pro-EU Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Very honoured to be part of todays Laying-Up of The Queenβs Colour of the @RoyalNavy, with HRH The Princess Royal at the βcathedral of the seaβ in Portsmouth. As well as being the Monarch, HMQ Elizabeth II was the daughter, wife and mother of sailors. In a rare and moving service we retired this visible symbol of loyalty, duty and service to the Crown. It will be honoured until its last thread is gone.

The destruction of history is to be completely condemned.
We need physical reminders of our past as a human race. Like it or not, they help us realise the past, especially WWII is not as long ago as we think.
If there is no physical evidence of these events, in a few generations time, no one will care about what happened.
Why do people feel it necessary to destroy history?
I do hope the damage isnβt too extensive.
Hitler actually disliked this place, as he was scared of heights.
He much preferred to spend time in the Berghof, his home further down the mountain which was destroyed at the end of the war.
Adolf Hitlerβs historic βEagleβs Nestβ retreat in Bavaria, Germany, has been engulfed in flames.
German police have detained a suspect as authorities investigate possible arson.
No injuries have been reported, and the extent of the damage remains unclear.

Then why should we support them?
But we shouldnβt support Palestine either.
Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina over the Falklands, The Telegraph can reveal.
The Israeli prime minister told diplomats to change his countryβs official position and join Buenos Aires in calling for direct talks over the future of the islands.
