My 2026 tech predictions 👇 Incremental AI. Confused users. Fewer breakthroughs than promised. Siri barely improves, AI browsers stall, Meta glasses spread, and we’re still unclear where AI actually belongs. 🔗 focustools.xyz/p/my-2026-tec…

Why is voice mode on Duet disconnected from the main chat and why must I "send" things back to the main chat? Can’t voice mode just be my chat?

Do not expect the Toast app to be updated for the Duo before the NYTimes app.

Just bought my first book in @readwise Books. Feels great to support independent. A few feature suggestions to improve the reading experience: - bookmark pages - scroll left/right to see previews of pages near the current page - grid view of 9 surrounding pages to better jump

Would love for the @nytimes to update the main app and Games to fully support the Duo.

Claude Duet just added persistent voice chat with screen off. Big win. A few things I'm still hoping for: - fully shared memory/context between Duet and Projects beta. - ask Duet to complete a task for a project and it shows as a thread in the Projects beta

ChatGPT and Dots can now access iCloud calendar and mail. Claude next?

Looks like Kindle app was just updated to fix some Duo bugs. Now you can get to menus and navigation. Still no support for 27.1 layouts though.

So…closing the screen requires pushing against the inner screen. Or is there a better way?

Quick Duo app check-in: @claudeai, @todoist, @mercuryweather look great. @nytimes Games looks okay-ish in portrait (was looking forward to crossword time on the Duo). Surprised to see that @ReadwiseReader has not been updated at all. That was the first app I checked.

Arc’s single best innovation was opening a new profile in the current window. Still something that Safari and Chrome don’t do.

I used to think success meant getting bigger. At my peak I had 39 employees and was burning $200,000 a month. It nearly took me down. Now I think the best business is one small enough that it's still fun to run.

I wonder how many of the Duo cover screen problems could be solved by collapsing the keyboard and promoting dictation. Siri dictation is better than it used to be, but @WisprFlow is still better than Siri dictation.

So…embargoes lift tomorrow morning?

Here's a feature request for @livebricked + iPhone Duo. Set the Brick to only allow certain apps in screen open mode. Adds friction to using apps on the front display while making them work on the inside. Don't think Apple has done this yet for Focus modes, but Brick could.

Ask folks who live in NJ who are mandated to commute into the city four days a week what makes them more miserable.
My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.

Hear me out. The Duo may presage the return of the belt clip.

iPhone Duo should tie focus modes screen time to inner/outer display. Don't want to check Instagram or work email? Set those to inner screen only.

Haven't seen much discourse about Claude Docs since it was announced. Felt like this could be the start of something, so I hope it's not going anywhere and that there’s more to come.
30
It's great that Claude projects now share memory with main chats. Next: projects should learn from each other. Consultants shouldn't retrain Claude for every client, and coders shouldn't re-explain their preferences on every repo. @claudeai, can we make it happen? Maybe opt in?
