Eze has the talent, but lacks personality.
Gyokeres has the mentality, but no where near having the talent.
Madueke has the personality and physical talent, but lacks the end product.
It’s not good enough.
It’s no surprise that I’m saying this, but every single player in our front line isn’t good enough to play for Arsenal. Our attack is being carried by an elite defence, midfield and coach.
MNF doing a segment on the Liverpool/City game when we all know that analysing City is a waste of everyone’s time - the pundits and the people paying to watch it.
People who only talk about tactics and what they “see on the pitch” when discussing City have been sportswashed. As far as I know it, they’re a non-entity.
City could go 10 points clear, and I wouldn’t care - when their sanctions come in it will be impossible for them to win the league.
Arsenal’s focus should be on Liverpool and maybe Chelsea.
If I’m being ultra cynical, City taking points off Liverpool is good because City are definitely getting sanctioned by January. In essence, City winning games doesn’t mean much right now (which is terrible in its own right).
How are we supposed to compete against United/Liverpool/Arsenal?
That’s the whole point, it’s tough to compete against historically elite football clubs because they are historically elite football clubs who have been HISTORICALLY (!) elite football clubs for several decades.
This isn’t the modern NBA - you’re not going to get parity across 90% of the competition. However, whoever watches the games knows that the PL is now more competitive than ever before.
This video has been going around, and I think it’s hilarious how very few people know their football history (esp. that of their own club).
One of the reasons there are greater financial regulations is because Leeds went bankrupt due to mismanaging their finances!
Saka has been ‘fine’ this season - not at his level mentally or physically, but he’s definitely not been bad. Overall, I’m still expecting him to raise his game, which I believe he will.
He has enough credit in the bank.
