Hi Jasmine. Explain "rape" to us again? The women went voluntarily, and then alleged these actions decades later? Wow Jasmine. You still can't get a man, right?

By the next election, Poilievre will have been in parliament for *a quarter century* and will have accomplished absolutely nothing except dividing Canadians and fomenting anger with lies & disinfo. Not one tangible, good thing for the country he’s sucked the teat of for 25 years.

You know what's actually disgusting? Russia invading Ukraine, killing children, and destroying families. Ukrainian athletes have lost their lives, their homes, and their futures. Maybe direct your outrage at the country responsible for all of this.
As a hockey mom, I find it absolutely disgusting that young Russian hockey players are being punished for the actions of their country’s leader. These young men didn’t start a war. They’re hockey players who have dedicated years of their lives to a sport they love. And let’s not forget their families. The countless hours at the rink. The early mornings, the endless travel, the financial sacrifices, and the years spent supporting their sons’ dreams of going as far as they possibly can in hockey. As a hockey mom, I know firsthand what families give up to get their children to this level. And now, because of politics, those dreams and opportunities are being taken away. Mark Carney, these young men are not responsible for Vladimir Putin’s decisions. Since when did we decide that punishing young athletes for the actions of their government was acceptable? Hockey should bring people together, not divide them. Absolutely disgusting.

This is great. I absolutely agree. I'd go further and call out those trying to tear down their fellow Canadians.

“White colored water”? Where did the protein, fat, lactose and calcium go—witness protection? Pasteurization kills pathogens. It doesn’t make nutrients disappear. You cannot “kill” calcium; it was never alive. Your microbiology needs pasteurizing.
Replying to @drterrysimpson
It doesn't maintain the nutrition. Just white colored water after you fully kill every nutritional benefit in it. The only reason why we started pasteurizing was to keep the industrial revolution booming. We want to be able to keep the cows in crappy conditions and still be able to sell the milk.

The Legion Commits Up to $250,000 to Support Those Affected by the CFB Wainwright Tragedy A statement from Dominion President Sharon McKeown on the Legion's commitment to providing immediate and long-term assistance to the injured and their families. "I am pleased to share that The Royal Canadian Legion is providing significant financial support to assist the victims and families affected by the recent tragedy at CFB Wainwright in Alberta. Our approach will help with both immediate and longer-term requirements. This is directly in keeping with our pledge to support Veterans and their families in times of need, through the Poppy Trust Fund. The Legion’s Alberta-NWT Command will continue to offer its tremendous on-the-ground assistance to families which began in the immediate aftermath. They will provide for things like travel, accommodations, and food; as long as required. Thanks to the support of your Branches, the Command indicates their Poppy funds are sufficient to handle the current requests. After conversations with the Canadian Armed Force’s Royal Chaplain Service (RCCChS), which is in direct and ongoing contact with affected families across the country; we understand that immediate needs are being met. The Legion’s financial support at a national level will therefore cover emerging requirements including mental health and caregiver support. Our Dominion Executive Council has approved an amount up to $250,000 to be released in stages. An immediate $100,000 will be disbursed to the Together We Stand Foundation, a not-for-profit entity. This foundation works with the RCCChS to ensure that 100% of what is provided will go directly to support those impacted. Subsequent disbursements of $50,000 will be made if and as needed. Some members of the CAF sustained severe injuries, and as of this week, over two dozen remained in hospital. It is anticipated that longer term treatment and assistance for the injured and their families will be required. I am confident our strong approach will help ensure that all families receive what they need now and in the future. We will continue to monitor this situation with our military and others and adjust our course as we learn more. Our thoughts remain with the injured, those who died, their comrades and their families. We Will Remember Them."

ON THIS DAY IN CANADIAN HISTORY PASSCHENDAELE: VICTORY IN A SEA OF MUD — NOVEMBER 6, 1917 On this day in 1917, Canadian soldiers captured the shattered Belgian village of Passchendaele, fighting their way through one of the most horrific battlefields of the First World War. Weeks of relentless rain and artillery bombardment had transformed the landscape into a wasteland of flooded shell craters, shattered trees, and seemingly bottomless mud. Men struggled to advance, wounded soldiers risked drowning in the mire, and every yard of ground came at a terrible price. Under the command of Lieutenant-General Arthur Currie, the Canadian Corps had begun its offensive on October 26. On November 6, following a heavy artillery barrage, the 27th (City of Winnipeg) Battalion captured the ruined village while other Canadian units fought to secure the surrounding positions. The Germans launched fierce counterattacks, but the Canadians held their ground. On November 10, Canadian troops secured the remaining objectives along Passchendaele Ridge, bringing their offensive to an end. The victory came at a staggering cost. The Canadian Corps suffered 15,654 casualties during the campaign, including more than 4,000 dead. Passchendaele became a symbol of both the extraordinary courage of Canadian soldiers and the devastating human cost of the Great War. We remember those who fought, those who fell, and those who never came home. Photo: PA, via The Telegraph. #OnThisDayInCanadianHistory #Passchendaele #LestWeForget
