My neighborโs son had been acting strangely for weeks. I eventually realized he had been watching through his apartment window whenever I changed clothes. One evening, I caught him and decided to confront him instead of pretending I hadn't noticed.
Me: โYou. Come to my house. We need to talk.โ
Boy: โMe?โ
Me: โYes. Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you.โ

Imagine watching War of the Worlds, Saw and The Grudge at the same time but everybody involved has lost their mind ๐ญ
Cindy Campbell is back and somehow finds herself dealing with a haunted house, an alien invasion and another supernatural problem that absolutely nobody around her is qualified to solve.
Thatโs the beauty of Scary Movie 4. It doesnโt even try to respect the movies itโs parodying. Tom Ryan is basically Tom Cruise in War of the Worlds while Shaq and Dr. Phil wake up trapped in their own ridiculous version of Saw. Even The Village catches stray bullets ๐
Some jokes have definitely aged better than others but when this movie lands, itโs pure early 2000s nonsense.
Iโm giving this one a 7/10.
You could watch five different movies or just watch Scary Movie 4 insult all of them at once ๐ญ

Imagine travelling to Rome to dedicate your life to God and slowly discovering that the people around you might be planning something that has absolutely nothing to do with heaven ๐ญ
Margaret arrives at a convent ready to become a nun. Then strange things start happening and her relationship with a troubled girl named Carlita leads her towards a conspiracy involving the birth of the Antichrist.
What I liked is that the movie doesnโt rush to throw demons everywhere. It lets the convent become uncomfortable first. Dark corridors, suspicious priests, disturbing visions. Even when nothing is happening youโre already expecting something terrible.
And Nell Tiger Free really carries it. Watching Margaret slowly realise the size of the madness around her is where the movie works best.
This one gets an 8/10 from me.
