A couple more days of humid weather, before a weak cold front, will knock temps and humidity levels back down. It's not a tremendous amount of dry air, but it will be noticeable from Sunday through midweek. Notice there is a possibility that temps will top off in the 70's for multiple days next week. The good news is no significant rain is expected over the next few days, allowing our waterlogged soil to dry out a bit. There is an area of interest in the tropics, which has a 50% of development. Regardless, it is moving out to sea and won't bother anyone.
Humid weather will last into the weekend, then a weak cold front will dry us out a bit by Sunday. Basically we get back close to normal for Sunday, and possibly into the upper 70's on Monday & Tuesday. Overall rain chances will be 30-40% today, then going down from there. River flood warnings will continue inland as well, so please be careful if you live near a river, creek, or stream, which are trying to manage the massive amount of rain we got in the past week.
After a waterlogged few days, the rain chances will start to go down over the next few days. In fact, a front will go through this weekend, leading to some drier air settling in for early next week. In addition, yes the hurricane season is still ongoing, and the NHC is watching this area of interest off the east coast of the U.S. Even if it was to develop, it will eventually head out to sea so no worries there.
Welcome to our El Niño winter pattern. Much of Central Florida has gotten more rain on the 1st of November, than we normally do the entire month. This has prompted many flood advisories and warnings. Please be careful on the roads as they are waterlogged... It looks like it will quiet down this afternoon, but please be cautious of standing water. Rain chances will drop throughout the week, and it looks like drier air will filter in just in time for the weekend.
