Machines are tools, not persons. Today, some propose granting these systems rights, or even legal personhood. Such an approach risks obscuring human responsibility and leaving those who suffer harm to confront a faceless entity.

Football being relatively low skilled compared to American sports is too hilarious, there’s a nigga in the nba right now who didn’t play organised basketball until 6 years ago that simply couldn’t happen in football
the french basically play 1 sport (soccer) which is the lowest barrier to entry sport in the world, is relatively low skilled, and may be "continuous" but 2/3 of the time nothing interesting is happening at least the germans kinda can play hockey, unlike you guys

this shows most people either don’t understand the book or haven’t read it. and this mistake stems from the Dune films not capturing deeply Paul’s prescient trap & why he eventually ā€œchoseā€ the genocide over the Golden Path which was even worse morally.
The most disturbing thing about Dune isn’t that Paul Atreides becomes responsible for billions of deaths. It’s that some fans have convinced themselves those deaths were justified because they happened in the name of his destiny. Let’s be honest: if you have to sacrifice billions of innocent people to secure your future, you’re not a saviour. You’re the very thing you claimed to be fighting. Paul didn’t just become a victim of prophecy; he became a man whose followers turned mass slaughter into religious devotion. And the most uncomfortable part? Some people watching Dune have done exactly the same thing. When did being the chosen one become a valid excuse for genocide? And if you still defend Paul, would you defend him if you weren’t watching from his side of the story?

i don’t know who you’re trying to clown here. Jesus was an ordinary builder in Nazareth were he was born, about the worst of towns in Roman Judea. nobody there was rich, and even the gospels make that perfectly clear. If that’s too controversial for you then i can’t help you.

you could draw a straight line from the poverty, disease, and constant Roman military raids for potential slaves in his town to everything he became: how he taught, and even his slight disdain for the Jewish authorities, the rich, and the elites of his society.

his greatest miracle wasn’t even that he allegedly rose from the dead, but going from cult leader in a backwater village in Nazareth to having the largest following in human history.
that nigga was too poor to own a slave. if we follow geoeconomic history, Nazarenes were more likely to be slaves themselves than to own one. he was so insignificant in the grand scheme of things that his contemporaries didn’t see him as someone worth writing about.

Jesus lived 600 years earlier in a far more unrefined era, yet He never owned a single slave. What is most startling about Christ is how He entirely bypassed the cultural traps of antiquity. He easily could have engaged in the socially permissible norms of His day that age horribly now; like marrying a minor, or owning and sexually exploiting slaves. But He didn’t. He lived with absolute moral perfection in a time when the ethical bar was on the floor, and His standard remains flawless today. He is God.

Vundie was genuinely eloquent sha. remember when people were joking that he talks exactly how he tweets, after that clip of him teaching his sister to drive whatever his issues were, articulateness wasn’t one of them
He does that to filter the folks that get to interact with his ideas. Vundie used to do the same and he never spoke like that irl

same playbook as the early church: suffering as the mission, not a setback. every attempt to justify Christian violence needs endless explaining because the text keeps dragging it back to turn the other cheek. It never really left that early cultic stage of development.
Two young Christian men are serving prison sentences in one of Iran’s hardest prisons. They’re there because they refuse to stop preaching about Jesus. When asked how to pray for them, their answer wasn’t what you might expect. ā€œPray that we would not be released until our job here is finished,ā€ they said. They had led numerous fellow prisoners to faith. Now, their chief concern was to remain inside long enough to disciple them. Read more: thegospelcoalition.org/artic…

imagine your hostile neighbor has 2m+ active troops, the biggest navy on earth, and 600+ nukes, and your whole plan is to skimp on defense spending, hoping the US or NATO somehow shows up if that neighbor starts heading south. smh
ā€œWhy on earth did the Australian Army buy actual tanks? Why not just purchase tank simulators instead?ā€ šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

wallahi i saw something similar to this talking point during the peak Buharinomics era. šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļø
Tbh, this is the first time in eons that our Naira can maintain close-band stability for months without burning our reserves to defend it. Sustained productivity gains will eventually reconcile purchasing power with price discovery. So I don’t think it would get worse lol.

early cameras in the late 1800s looked awful next to brush paint. 30 years on, painting felt as outdated as an abacus. give it 10-15 years and we’ll be fine.
didn't expect canva of all companies to spearhead the crusade against graphic design slop amen

Some people are anti-marriage and anti-babies. Take note of that when you are co-opted into certain talking points. That's all I can say.

this is factually not true. idk when this nonsense became a thing on this app. women owning property in the SE is seen as just as normal. a lot of woman own far more properties that there’s even a stereotype about them being more ruthless landladies than their male counterparts
Igbo men go to Benin and lose their minds when they see women with properties. They come from a culture that is so hostile to women, they struggle to conceive it Let’s assume you’re right, the late men’s brothers suppose chase the wives and children comot from house ba?
