It is true that miracles play an important role in the Church鈥檚 canonization process. But, they are not the definition of sainthood, nor are they the only evidence of holiness. The Church鈥檚 primary concern is whether a person鈥檚 life demonstrates heroic virtue, and fidelity to God
A Catholic who does not believe in miracles needs must explain to all and sundry how humans are made saints by the Catholic Church! I throught a miracle that is verified is part of the process to sainthood鈥o?
Did he not say he was a Catholic? Does he know his faith very well? Should people go to Bukalango? I have walked with many pilgrims to Namugongo who testify of miracles. Are they lying about these miracles?
Miracle is extraordinary and extremely complex.
Update: The family of the late Omukama Oyo IV rejects the process used by the 21-member Babiito selection committee to choose his successor.
They maintain that the late King left behind a will outlining his wishes, which they insist must be respected in the succession process.

Typically, on a regular Monday, I would be on screens, committed to impactful journalism. In the flip of a coin, a Monday like this one finds I and many of my NMG colleagues at home due to a shutdown that threatens press freedom.
It's tough!
Afande, just like daddy and uncle! You, too, need us, btw? Otherwise, they're, to some extent, smarties in their game because of our boldness.
I want to switch off both @DailyMonitor and @ntvuganda. I will do it soon. I just need clearance from Mzee.

Let's kill the "I fear to lose my job" syndrome. Work while preparing for your exit one day for it will surely come like it or not. Join this great discussion this Friday 7pm with @UkweliAfrica @DavidIjjo @JohnWalugembe
Many journalists aren鈥檛 prepared for life beyond the newsroom, leaving them stuck without a clear plan.
This Friday, we鈥檙e diving into financial freedom and how to build a future beyond the mic.
Don鈥檛 miss it.

Hudu! German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer once argued that the philosophy of stupidity ultimately forces one to look inward.
It is easy to identify it in others; leaders, crowds, and institutions.
It is harder to detect it within one's self.
Guys, any gathering, of more than 50 people, moreover, opposition leaders..., in this post election season, can not merely be looked at as innocent "HOLY MASS"
Why is it that there has never been any such Mass b4? @KagutaMuseveni is miles away in strategy...come on @NUP_Ug
My first day in the field, filing and executing a story for NBS live @ 9, was because of you, Josephine. It was the launch of ECCMIS in courts ( I recall).
Your tough love shaped my execution and delivery. You鈥檙e my very first mentor in this game, and I鈥檒l always be grateful.
.@IMChallengeug my home!. Thanks a bunch.
What does it take to cover an election beyond the headlines?
@DavidIjjo , one of our proud #MediaFellowshipUG alumnus working at @ntvuganda, was there for every moment of Uganda's General Elections and now he's ready to share what it was really like.
