Great day at Palmerstown Stud Golf Club with a couple of athletic and Olympic legends and old pals David Matthews (1996,2000) and TJ Kearns (1988,1992,1996) … More than 10 years since I last played there and it remains a fitting tribute to the late Christy Junior’s design flair.

agree 💯 - it’s been in decline for a number of years recently we went to a straight final( alarm bells).
What’s needed is working group whose remit is to fill the 8/10 lanes - for nationals- resourced & lead by one of our ex great hurdlers- Coughlan /Kearns/Cahill?
Like a fine Wine- @markenglish_ breaking 1.43 for 800 is incredible! 1.42.97
Fastest in Europe this year a very solid run too by McPhillips( it’ll bring him on) … all roads led to European Championship in Birmingham 10th of August
our 800m guys are leading the charge for medals
