Lower costs on what, exactly? More choice of what, exactly. What opportunities for young people? What export markets have opened that we didn’t already have? Does any legacy media do any journalism at all? Carney is a fraud.
A stronger Canada-EU alliance will deliver more choice and lower costs for families. New export markets for businesses. Greater opportunities for young people to live, work, and study where they want.

Carney says we have a “tight” relationship with the EU? So why do we need to be an associate member? Why not work on getting CETA ratified by the other countries if we’re so tight? What benefits do average Canadians get from this tight relationship? Carney is a fraud.
Asked to describe Canada's relationship with the EU in one word, Prime Minister Mark Carney: "Tight. I don't, I mean, I think that's a little too clever of a question, quite frankly." via POLITICO

Replying to @JonFraserTF
This was NOT on the Liberal platform. This should be a referendum item. Carney has no mandate for this.

If you're curious about Grokbot, here's a fun one to start with. It gets rid of spam calls and shows you how Grokbot's @bot works. Two big birds, one tiny stone 🤗 nitter.cf/MinimalDuck/status/211…
My first week using Grokbot I'm blown away. Tonight I got tickets for a concert with the kids with 70 punk bands and told Grokbot to build a Youtube playlist of the top songs to send the kids. It took me 30 seconds 🤯 Moreover, doing it by hand would have taken so long I wouldn't have done it and the kids would have no idea who the bands are 🤯

For decades, America outsourced its industrial muscle to China while Washington celebrated the "post-industrial economy." Turns out you can't defend a country with PowerPoint presentations. Anduril is bringing back the hardware. 🇺🇸
More than 90% of the component cost in @anduriltech’s BlueChip laptop prototypes goes to American and allied suppliers, with circuit board assembly planned at Arsenal-1 in Ohio. From the launch video: “Any country that can’t build its own computers can’t secure them.” For too long we handed our hardware supply chain to adversaries. Anduril is helping take it back, and President Trump’s America First agenda is making it possible.

BIG LOSS 👀 As Telesat Corp reported a net loss of $157 million for 3rd quarter of FY26 with consolidated revenue declining to $81 million WHY is this such a Big deal? Because it’s another failed Canadian government investment 🇨🇦 The Government committed $2.14 BILLION in loans plus $600 MILLION for operational satellite capacity alongside a recent $2.3 billion federal defense contract 🤯 INSANE

I'm 72. Even 10-15 yrs ago, I wouldn't have entirely believed this statement ⬇️ I still had some limited faith in politicians. Now I realize how naive I was. This country is run by crooks. Full stop.
Politicians don’t care what constituents want, they care about what gives their friends/family the most jobs, or puts the most money in their jeans.

🇨🇦 ONTARIO JUST REVEALED A FINANCIAL PROBLEM EVERY TAXPAYER SHOULD UNDERSTAND. And it’s not just the growing deficit. Ontario’s October 29 fiscal update reveals: 💰 2026–27 deficit: $16.9 BILLION 🏦 Annual debt interest: $17.4 BILLION 📉 Projected economic growth in 2026: Just 0.5% Read that again. Ontario expects to spend MORE servicing its debt than the size of its entire annual deficit. $17.4 BILLION. Not building hospitals. Not hiring teachers. Not constructing highways. Just servicing existing debt. And here’s the uncomfortable part. Ontario previously expected to balance its budget in 2028–29. That target has now been pushed to 2029–30. Meanwhile, the Bank of Canada has started raising interest rates again. Higher borrowing costs could eventually make refinancing government debt more expensive. The province is facing pressure from U.S. tariffs, slower growth and rising demand for public services. Those pressures are real. But so is the arithmetic. Every dollar spent servicing yesterday’s debt is a dollar unavailable for tomorrow’s priorities. Ontario doesn’t just have a spending challenge. It has an economic growth challenge. Because you cannot indefinitely borrow your way into prosperity while your economy barely grows. And eventually, taxpayers inherit the bill. 🍁 @wealthmoose #Ontario #Canada

Not one Canadian voted for this.
Ursula von der Leyen, in Montreal today: “And this is why we’re discussing the idea of Canada becoming the first associate member of the European Union.” “It means close alignment of policies” “It means close alignment on governance” “The cooperation could also entail parliament to parliament between or two parliaments. And court to court.” WTAF? Who voted for this?

🚨 DAMAGE CONTROL: Barack Obama is now on the campaign trail swearing he LOVES the Cheesecake Factory. Days ago he mocked Trump's White House as looking like "Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory." Now it's "my jam for about a decade." He insulted millions of regular Americans who eat there, got caught, and is calling it a joke. Nobody is buying it, Barack.
