Yesterday, I inaugurated the Osun State Presidential Campaign Council for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), with a renewed commitment to deliver more than the 1.5 million votes we earlier promised. Our rainbow coalition of Accord, APC and PDP is united solely for President Tinubu's re-election in the January 2027 presidential election. This partnership does not extend to the legislative elections. My support for all Accord candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly remains unshaken. On the Osun local government crisis, negotiations are at an advanced stage. I have received the assurance of the Federal Government, and there will be positive developments soon. These are critical times that demand unity beyond political differences. From the pain of the past, we must unite for the prosperity of the future. Together, let us mobilise and deliver Osun for President Tinubu.

GOVERNOR ADELEKE COMMITTED TO TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, ANTI-CORRUPTION FIGHT IN OSUN – SSG, IGBALAYE. Osogbo – 21/10/2026 The Secretary to the Osun State Government, Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, has reaffirmed Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to promoting transparency, accountability and the fight against corruption as essential pillars of good governance in the state. Igbalaye gave the assurance while receiving a delegation of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, led by the Acting Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Mrs. Winifred Ingobro, during an advocacy visit to his office. He described corruption as a major impediment to societal development, noting that it undermines public trust, weakens institutions and hinders effective service delivery. He stressed that tackling the menace requires collective efforts from government institutions, civil society organisations, the private sector and citizens. The SSG emphasised the importance of the ICPC’s advocacy visit in sensitising Ministries, Departments and Agencies on the need to uphold integrity, accountability and ethical standards in the discharge of their duties. “As a government, we recognise that transparency, accountability and integrity are essential to building public trust, strengthening institutions and ensuring effective service delivery. Every public official has a responsibility to uphold these principles and ensure that public resources are used for their intended purposes,” Igbalaye said. He urged public officials to shun bribery, avoid abuse of office and ensure that public resources are judiciously utilised for their intended purposes. Igbalaye assured the Commission of the Osun State Government’s readiness to cooperate with relevant authorities in strengthening transparency and accountability mechanisms and preventing corrupt practices across the public service. He commended the ICPC for its continued efforts to promote integrity and combat corruption, expressing optimism that the engagement would further strengthen ethical conduct and responsible service delivery among public officials in Osun State. Representation is beyond wearing agbada to Abuja. It is about voice, responsibility, accountability and speaking for those who elected you. Our Reps carry the faces of Osun, the hopes of our constituencies. As we look ahead, may the impact be felt at home. OSUN IN FOCUS.

Pastor Bolaji had the perfect opportunity to correct these women’s mentality and address the materialistic mindset behind their dating choices. Instead, he seemingly missed the opportunity to teach them something meaningful by ending the service prematurely, perhaps because he didn’t want to offend his own congregants. 🤦‍♀️ The women were openly talking about relationships driven by financial benefits, yet the congregation responded with cheers of “Men Dey!” 😂💔 Must a woman reach menopause before she understands the consequences of her choices? Must she sleep with countless men in search of an “Odogwu” before she learns that money alone cannot sustain a healthy relationship? The church should be a place where people are corrected, challenged, and guided toward better values, not just entertained and applauded. Sometimes, I genuinely wonder what this generation of churches stands for. Is it about transforming lives, or does correction suddenly become difficult when it might offend members or affect the church’s pocket? Not every moment calls for applause. Sometimes, people need the truth, even when it makes them uncomfortable. 💔🙏

Those of you asking, Are people from the South West,Lagos State indigenes? Are you people okay? Did they ever claim that they are Lagos State indigenes? Personally, I was born and raised in Lagos State. I went to school here from primary school all the way to higher institution. But if you ask me where I’m from, I’ll tell you I’m from Ondo State. That’s how many of us in the South West are. We can live in Lagos for decades, but we will still proudly tell you where we come from. What I don’t understand is why some Igbos will tell you that because they were born and raised in Lagos, they are Lagosians, instead of acknowledging their state of origin. You can be born and raised in Lagos and still be from Anambra, Imo, Enugu or wherever your family is from. A lot of Yoruba people will tell you confidently, “I’m from Ondo,” “I’m from Ekiti,” “I’m from Osun,” regardless of how long they’ve lived in Lagos. We don’t deny our heritage. You can be a Lagosian by birth and upbringing while still acknowledging your ancestral origin.
