🚨 Trump is now facing serious backlash from his own party.
After Democrats took control of BOTH the House and Senate, Republican officials are openly blaming Trump for one of the party's biggest election defeats in years.
And some of the results are shocking.
• Texas: Democrats won a Senate seat for the first time since 1988.
• Kansas: Democrats won their first Senate seat in 94 YEARS.
• South Carolina: Another Republican stronghold flipped to Democrats.
But what's even more concerning for Trump is that Republicans themselves are now questioning his leadership.
According to the BBC, Republican insiders pointed to four major reasons behind the defeat:
1. Iran war: Growing anger over the conflict, rising fuel prices and its impact on the economy.
2. Cost of living: Trump's tariffs and rising everyday expenses left many voters frustrated.
3. Immigration: His immigration crackdown faced growing opposition.
4. Campaign mistakes: Some Republicans accused Trump of spending too much time on personal projects and controversial statements instead of addressing voters' concerns.
And one Republican lobbyist in Texas didn't hold back.
"It's on him. It's not on anybody else."
Trump, however, has pushed back, arguing that he wasn't on the ballot and that Republicans would have performed better if he had been.
But the political consequences are already enormous.
Starting in January, Democrats will control Congress, giving them the power to block major legislation, launch investigations into Trump's administration and challenge his future judicial nominees.
Trump still has more than two years left in office.
But after losing both chambers of Congress, he's now facing criticism from the very Republicans who were supposed to be defending his agenda.
