J.K. Rowling has become an outspoken advocate for women’s rights, including the right of women and girls to fair competition in sports and protection of female-only spaces.
Despite intense public criticism from a loud minority, Rowling has refused to back down from speaking about biological reality and the harm caused by denying it, particularly to women and vulnerable young girls.
Women and girls deserve advocates who will stand up for them, regardless of the backlash.

When a man calls himself a woman, he is committing an act of discrimination against the female sex.
He is dehumanizing all of womanhood in accordance with his fantasy - a delusion that more often than not is inspired by a pornography addiction.
This is especially true when a man calls himself a "lesbian". One can instantly understand the contents of his hard drive.
When the law defends such men and punishes women for objecting, it becomes clear that they are not an oppressed minority but rather a virulently misogynist cohort of men who get a thrill out of humiliating and degrading women.
Yet these men are backed by judges, governments, even the UN. There is nothing about them that is oppressed; they act out a public fetishization of women, and use the law to force our participation against our will.

こういう日本人、わたしが中学生ぐらいのときから強烈に違和感を持ってました。
そもそも「日本人が他人を気遣える」というのがウソだから。
日本人の中年、高齢男性は誰1人として、子どもだった自分に気を遣ってくれなかったし、逆に威圧して、横暴な態度をとる人しかいなかった。
そして海外に行って確信しました。「気遣いは日本独自の美しい文化！」みたいに言う人が多いのは、日本を出て生活したことのない日本人が大半だからだと。
他人を気遣うのは、人間にもともと備わってるもの。
それを日本人の特徴だと言ってしまうのは、マジで恥ずかしいことです。

今日、スタンディングしてたら警察官に声をかけられた。正直、駅前で旗振りは微妙かな〜。と思ってたから声かけられるのはいいんだが、一言目が「日本人ですか？」はおかしいだろ。日本人じゃなかったらとしたらどうだというのだ。

問題なのは「外国人だから音読させた」こと自体ではなく、会話ですでに日本語能力を確認できていた相手に、さらに人前での音読まで求めたことだ。これはリスク管理というより、責任を回避するための形式的な儀式にすぎない。本当の不正を防ぐ効果はほとんどない一方で、誠実に手続きを進めようとする人の時間と尊厳だけを奪っている。
