The UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls has backed in my bills to end shackling of people giving birth and children being strip searched.
The UN have condemned the Albanese government for blocking them.
The Prime Minister needs to step up and stop this violence.
This Labor government is happy to pat themselves on the back for signing up to UN agreements, but they do nothing to actually implement them. It’s just performative.
