Deborah Roberts

I’ve spent most of my life asking questions. As a journalist, I learned to listen for the real answer underneath the polished one. As a First Lady, an advocate, a daughter, a mother, and a woman whose own life has taken unexpected turns, I’ve kept asking questions, especially when life got hard. Starting next week, I’m releasing a brand-new show that my team and I have been working on called Architects of Change, the podcast. This is the show I wish I had at 30, 40, 50 and 60. When my parents died. When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. When I became a mother. When my marriage ended. When I had to begin again. When my children grew up and the house got quiet. Life doesn’t come with a roadmap. But along the way, people appear who can help us find our way through. Architects of Change is your introduction to those people. Every episode should leave you with something you can carry into your own life: an insight, a question, a practice, a hard truth, a little hope, or simply the feeling that you are not walking through life alone. Welcome to Architects of Change!
