At Debbie Allen Middle School, students in grades 6–8 grow through a combination of academics and training in dance and theatre arts. ⁣ Through our parent organization, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we welcome donations year-round to help sponsor a student

Your art has a place in the world you want to create. ⁣ After hearing our students share what they wish were different in the world, our Senior Artistic Advisor offered this encouragement: keep creating. Keep pursuing your passions. Keep sharing what only you can bring.

From the page to the stage. ✍🏽🎭 #WhyIWrite For National Day on Writing, we’re looking back at last year’s Black History Month presentation, written by our principal, Mr. Hawkins, alongside DAMS students. Writing is part of our students’ lives in the classroom and onstage.
