I made this live in class. On the spot.
A short animated story about a girl who hides her magic, because in her village, magic means witch.
Not long ago, something like this needed a studio. A team of animators, a storyboard artist, a background painter, someone on sound, months of work, and a budget most people will never see.
This took one girl, one laptop, in her room. Under 10 hours, start to finish.
That is what has changed.

A friend suggested I try making an Aquafina commercial, so I did. 😂
I could have gone absolutely crazy with the visuals, transitions and effects, but I decided to approach this as an experiment first.
I wanted to A/B test the creative direction, explore colour grading a little more and see how far I could push the storytelling without overdoing it.
3 things I keep reminding myself when creating AI commercials:
1. Sell the feeling, not just the product.
2. Make the environment believable. Context matters.
3. Colour grading is part of the storytelling, not just decoration.
