Did no one making that ad, assuming this isn't a joke, think about the implications of black appearing mixed race kids going into white grandma's house and wrecking the place and being rude?

I dont think a Christmas commercial is supposed to make me feel sad for a grandma and want to assault spoiled ass children but somehow they pulled it off

🚨BREAKING: The John Lewis Christmas Advert 2026 has become one of the worst reviewed in the stores history The comments on YouTube have been TURNED OFF There are currently 5 times the dislikes as there are likes The Plot: - Entitled children ignore their Grandmother, won't even hug her - She tries to give them nice, simple, meaningful toys to play with, they ignore her - She goes to John Lewis to buy expensive toys - The kids now love her It's an awful message featuring a diverse family as always

Wotless wasteman.
Is it just me, or is this guy who has just returned to the UK after a 28 year WALK actually just INCREDIBLY selfish? He left behind an 8 year old son, and returns home to a 36 year old man, who has had to live, and grow to adulthood, without his dad. I seem to be in the minority, but that just seems like really twatty behaviour to me.

Hackers reportedly turning supermarket fridges up to 80C. The advice is to patch them. Mine's simpler: a fridge doesn't need to be on the internet. It needs to be cold.

As a woman there’ll be a weird phase in your life where you will ONLY attract married men, men in relationships or younger men. And it will be a rotation of the 3. It’s very important that you ignore them because it passes very quickly. I have no idea what causes it
Why do men see me and see a side chick?😔

Girls, am I understanding this correctly? If I pay for a guy’s salad on a date, does that mean he’s obligated to come over to my place and scrub the toilet, install a curtain rod, and assemble a wardrobe???! 😂😂

Vosotros sois muy jóvenes y no lo sabéis, pero hubo un tiempo en que Patrick Stewart tenía pelo (y yo lo vi en la tele. Si, soy una señora mayor.) – at Burgos, Spain

¿Se acuerdan que a View to a Kill parecía medio ridícula porque Roger Moore luchaba contra un millonario de Silicon Valley que era nazi en secreto y quería esclavizar al mundo? Bueno.

Don’t You Worry ‘bout a Thing - sorry, morning cafe rant warning. I DO worry when it’s a hideous “smooth bossa” cover where the meaning of the song is completely emaciated and lyrics are cut eg “I’ll be standing on the side when you check it offff your trip” I mean, hello?!! 🤬

There is basically no scenes I've seen of Rochelle that don't depict her as both a bad mother and wife.

My hot take is that TNG, not TOS, made Star Trek into a true cultural phenomenon. Without TNG, it's just a fondly remembered, often prescient, occasionally schlocky 1960s sci-fi series and sequel movies. But TNG reinvented and elevated the show, creating the franchise.
