D.J. Caruso's The Salton Sea: a modern-day film noir with an off-beat sensibility. Worth watching for Val Kilmer’s textured & tortured turn (a great supporting cast too). Quite a dark piece, but there’s humour woven into its tapestry. A little seen curio that's worth seeking out.
