When it comes to dogs and humans, please choose humans. It’s heartbreaking to lose children to rabies. And it’s always the most vulnerable sections of society that bear the brunt of this menace. It’s two wheeler riders who face fatal accidents. It’s children from underprivileged communities who are exposed to this danger every single day. Public safety must come first. The most vulnerable among us deserve better.
India has become the top country for rabies deaths with 5,726 annually, accounting for 35% of the global total: Report

When I was 13, I lost my mom to breast cancer. I still wonder if it could have been prevented. When she found the lump, she did everything right. She went to her primary care doctor, and he told her it was nothing. My mom wasn’t convinced, so she went to a women’s health specialist for a second opinion and was told the same thing. A year passed before she saw a third doctor who was shocked that nothing had been done and ordered tests the same day. By the time she was diagnosed, the cancer had already spread. For the next three years, she went through chemo, surgery, and radiation. Specialist after specialist, asking the same questions again and again. After she passed away, there were two thoughts I couldn’t out of my head: (1) Somewhere, a doctor must have seen a case like my mom’s and caught it early. (2) Nothing that doctor learned had any way to reach her. Healthcare runs in my family. All four of my sisters are nurses or pharmacists, and my fiancée spent the pandemic working in a multi-organ transplant recovery ward. I’ve seen how hard clinicians work, and how much of that work requires understanding the patient and recognizing patterns from past cases. That’s why a doctor can practice for 30 years and get better every year, while a hospital can treat millions of patients without getting much better at treating the next one. What’s missing in healthcare is the infrastructure for it to learn from its own experience. If we don’t examine the cause and outcome of every interaction, how do we get better at knowing which signs to watch for? I spent years at Google and Upwork building AI from human expertise, then eventually left big tech to work on the one problem I couldn’t stop thinking about. I started a company called Concurrence (@concurrencehq) and raised $24M to build data and AI systems that enable healthcare orgs to learn from every patient they treat. Nothing learned is lost, and it reaches the next patient who needs it. We’ve already supported care for over 10 million patients worldwide. My mom deserved a doctor who had seen her case a thousand times. Every patient does.

Sir, pls sit down.
Is this the right move @Keerthana4VNR ? Tamil Nadu is already facing concerns over GST revenue growth. In this situation, is reducing VAT on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) the right fiscal decision, given that VAT on ATF is a source of revenue that accrues directly to the state? The government may argue that lower fuel taxes will attract more flights, improve regional connectivity and stimulate economic activity. But how much revenue will the state forgo, and is there a credible assessment that the resulting economic benefits will offset that loss? At a time when state finances need careful management, shouldn't this decision be backed by transparent estimates of revenue loss and the expected economic gains? @CMOTamilnadu @TVKVijayHQ

We welcome the Government of Tamil Nadu’s decision to reduce VAT on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) and extend our sincere appreciation to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, @TVKVijayHQ, for this progressive initiative. Such measures strengthen air connectivity, support the state’s tourism and economic growth, and contribute to a more robust aviation ecosystem in India. We hope similar progressive initiatives will make air travel more accessible.

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

With EV fire incidents making headlines, and no comparable nationwide data on ICE vs EV fires, how does one assess the actual risk of buying an EV in India? Are EVs genuinely safer, or are we missing crucial data? What should buyers consider before making the switch?
