& MPHA, after the 2040 plan was adopted. Her house was converted to a Section 8 Project-Based housing through Section 18 Demolition and Disposition, a voluntary HUD program that the City of Minneapolis lobbied for when Trump deregulated the program.

As part of the larger film I am producing about public housing, I have been documenting the fight against the proposed demolition of public housing in Chelsea, Manhattan. This is guaranteed to be a historic battle for some of the country's last remaining public housing.

Check out the African American Historical & Cultural Study, which acknowledges the history of Glendale Townhomes, its contributions & DG&PHC. But, the mayor & majority of the CMs refused Glendale’s historic designation & have been blocking the votes since 2016. Go figure!
