Yet another court tells Sex Matters that they have not provided any evidence, simply opinion.
The Parliamentary Committee on Conversion Therapy should be embarrassed for inviting them to provide "evidence" today. Joyce will simply regurgitate the same falsehoods again

Maya Forstater of Sex Matters here, seeming quite openly full of fury at the idea of laws protecting LGBTQ children from being abused by their parents.

The Bill does not criminalise parents for simply having difficult conversations with their children. It targets abusive conversion practices meeting a high threshold of harm.
Sex Matters is advocating for child abuse.
We agree with @bphillipsonMP, minister for women and equalities, that parents shouldn’t be prosecuted for having difficult conversations with their children.
But there is nothing on the face of the Conversion Practices Bill that protects them. We wrote to ask her to put that right.

Helen Joyce here stating that staff and students should ,"not be punished in any way" for referring to Ms Westwood as a man seems unfamiliar with the relevant case law, such as Mackereth v DWP. It is legitimate for employers to have policies against misgendering trans people.

Ordinary responsible parents do not attempt to change their children's gender or sexual orientation by coercive practices.
But if parents do they are already very likely to fall foul of the criminal law because it's already illegal for them to abuse their children.

Whose director of advocacy Helen Joyce said of "happily transitioned" trans people, "the fewer of those people there are, the better".
The forstater and Bailey judgments have shown us that gender identity is also a protected belief under the Equality Act. Sex Matters are advocating here that Girl guiding should show no knowledge of a protected belief. People are non binary. Everyone should be aware of that
This needs to be seen alongside Joyce's ultimate plan of there being less trans people
