Wow Kiggans only lost by 9 instead of 12. I’m so owned!!!
Will probably go undernoticed given the wave nationally, but Virginia Democrats had sort of an unimpressive performance? Warner won by 22 points, which in isolation is very impressive. But just next door in North Carolina, Dems routed the GOP. Same thing in SC (!) and GA. Shannon Taylor barely got across the finish line in VA-01, Elaine Luria won VA-02 in the single digits and Tom Periello came up short in VA-05. The same-sex marriage amendment also passed by far less than I would have thought. It underperformed Warner and abortion which is sort of shocking to me.

I was insanely critical of AES throughout the campaign and consistently felt he was a bad candidate. Dude won by 7 *with* Haley Stevens trying to undermine his campaign in an unprecedented way. Abdul did just fine, lol. Only underran Benson by 3.5%.
The worst Dem performance on the night, by far, came from AES. I'm sure the progressives will claim it's still a massive victory, but it's an extremely poor showing.

Does Kimberly Yee have a path to winning or is Arizona also going to be a Dem sweep?

If Peltola holds on (as looks likely) then Dems need to play hardball big time with Murkowski. If she doesn’t commit to serious concessions (i.e. defection or D-caucusing Indy) then Dems needs to sink her re-election. Dems no longer need to settle for her.
Mary Peltola takes the lead again in Alaska.

'But she's about to become GOP ranking member on Appropriations!!!' Couldn't give a flying fuck, if she's arrogant enough to think that's more important than her seat then she can deserve to get about 15% in two years time. The Dems keeping her in work need a bone!

good, please let this be the permanent end of the "fake independent" gimmick that treats voters as retarded and actually build long term party infrastructure in these states
Senator Pete Ricketts expected to win by 11 points according to the NYT Osborn will lose by more than he did in 2024. #NebraskaSenate

Sweeping those Southern Marion seats was predicted by absolutely nobody. It seems every semi-Major metro area in the US just went absolutely sicko mode.
Democrats have eroded the House supermajority.

In Alaska's last results update of the night/morning, US Senate challenger @MaryPeltola takes the lead back from @SenDanSullivan. She's ahead by .29 if a point. Lots more ballot-counting ahead.
