Yesterday, we had the honour of welcoming Pascal Lamy, Coordinator of the @DelorsInstitute and former Director-General of the WTO, for the Jacques Delors Memorial Lecture at the College of Europe in Natolin titled "Forging European Identity at the Geopolitical Crossroads".
Mr Lamy shared his invaluable insights on Europe's future in the global arena, highlighting key aspects of economic cooperation and international governance. The lecture was followed by a Q&A session moderated by Thomas Mayr-Harting, former EU Ambassador. This event was part of the Natolin Memorial Lectures, dedicated this time to honouring the visionary work of Jacques Delors, a key architect of European integration and the current patron of the 2024/2025 promotion.
Jacques Delors, who served as the 8th President of the European Commission from 1985 to 1995 and played a significant role in creating the single market and the modern European Union, holds a special place at Natolin. He inaugurated the College of Europe in Natolin in 1994.
