eMudhra login to download customer's certs can be cracked
Their 1FA login generates a OTP & sends it. It also sends a RSA public key to front end
They haven't rate limited checks, so you can offline brute force 0 to 9999 encrypted with public key & find the OTP

Launching Junction: come speed-run the semiconductor tech tree this December in Bangalore.
We’re flying in students from all over India 🇮🇳 to a 2-week fabrication retreat at @_lagrangepoint to build equipment, design chips and engineer processes, with our friends at @hackerfabindia.
India still needs thousands of semicon engineers -- the ecosystem to produce them isn’t mature enough yet -- we're changing that.
Current applicants have built vacuum chambers to study plasma physics, RISC-V processors from scratch, scanning tunneling microscopes, et cetera
At junction you will:
1. Propose a project
2. Figure out a plan with the Junction team.
3. Iterate fast towards a working prototype, with help from the Junction team
4. Be mentored by top semiconductor hackers and specialists.
5. Demo to industry leaders, founders, investors, and your fellow craftspeople
Flights, accommodation and project expenses? All covered. Apply on the link below

Ghostty 1.4 is now out! Full Kitty graphics with animation (the first terminal besides Kitty to do it), scrollback compression for much lower memory usage, macOS 27 support, a new OpenGL renderer on Linux, ghostty +ssh, big performance gains, and hundreds more changes.
The highlights:
- Scrollback compression: scrollback compresses ~90+% on average, meaning your terminals use that much less live memory
- Huge memory savings across the board: no single large thing, just lots of good improvements lowers memory usage everywhere, netting anywhere from 50 to 90% less memory usage depending on workload
- Kitty graphics is now 100% complete, including animation and relative placements, after a full conformance pass against the spec and Kitty itself
- The Kitty clipboard protocol, with an image preview when a program asks to read your clipboard
- Split drag and drop on Linux, including between windows
- ghostty +ssh installs terminfo on remote hosts automatically, so things just work over SSH
- Lots of terminal emulation accuracy fixes
This release is 7 months of work from 172 contributors over 2,889 commits. It also fixes 10 security advisories, so please update.

New in CodeRabbit Secure:
Deep Scan now follows a vulnerability across your linked repos, then replays the exploit in a throwaway sandbox to prove it's real before it flags anything.
Hendrik walks through this and everything else in the new update:

Vinix, a new OS/kernel built from scratch, can now run Android apps!
vinix-os.org
The goal: full Android runtime, minus the ads.
As Android grows more bloated and closed, Vinix aims to offer a truly open alternative.
Here's Google Maps running on Vinix:
156 Indian government websites are currently inaccessible because of a cert revocation by @eMudhra, including 4 that come under @GoI_MeitY. One of them is @ccaindiapki - which regulates eMudhra.
cc @internetfreedom
I made a list: captnemo.in/blog/2026/10/23/…
Replying to @GoI_MeitY
The reported security incident pertains to this only. MeitY is not involved in its audit.
The impact of this incident on Indian websites and applications have been very limited and for a very short interval.

Hi, we're Threadlocked, a small collective of young researchers and hackers scattered across India and APAC.
We're sick of watching an entire generation mistake salary packages and credentials for the pursuit of computer science itself.
We're looking for curious hackers and researchers who still dare to take the road less traveled by treating computing as a craft.
We grew up in obscure corners of the Internet and learnt from strangers who encouraged our curiosity, shared their knowledge and even helped us access resources we couldn't afford. Somewhere along the way, we found our people. Now that we're in a position to do the same for others, we'd like to return the favor.
If any of these feel familiar we’d love to hear from you.

Employment has always been about the value you can bring to a company. Work will likely require you to use AI in your day-to-day. Get good with that tool, but don't make it an excuse to stop learning.
Learning will help your understanding of the systems you work with. It will also help your problem solving and ability to turn business problems into technical solutions. That's the true value you bring as a technologist.

RAM is the new bottleneck. Every Node.js process is fighting for memory: containers, serverless, cloud bills, k8s limits. And here's the maddening part: V8 can use half the memory with one flag, and almost nobody turns it on.

Vinix, a new OS/kernel, is perfect for low end hardware.

Here's Vinix running on an Intel Atom n450 netbook with a Windows XP theme.
It runs well, RAM usage is small, no lags.
Thanks @ClaudeDevs for sending me these cute and lovely stickers 😁

Vinix's ISO size has gone down from 1 GB to just 100 MB!
This was achieved by removing Firefox, X11, debug info, and many other packages that can be easily installed.
An yes, Vinix doesn't need X11 to run, it has its own WS.
