The event brought together distinguished leaders, including Prof. Dr. Amon Murwira, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the keynote speaker; Chileshe Mpundu Kapwepwe, Secretary General of COMESA; Mucai Kunyiha, President of the COMESA Business Council; Matlhogonolo Valela, Group Chief Executive Officer of Delta Corporation; Mr. Alfred Olajide, Vice President for East and Central Africa at The Coca-Cola Company; and Patricia Murambinda, General Manager – Corporate Affairs at Delta Corporation, alongside honourable ministers and ambassadors. COCA-COLA SHOWCASES ITS SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT AT COMESA SUMMIT We were honoured to welcome His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, and the two Vice Presidents, to the Coca-Cola exhibition stand during the COMESA Summit in Harare. The delegation was welcomed by Delta Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Mr Matlhogonolo Valela, the Group Finance Director, Mr. Alex Makamure, and The Coca-Cola Company’s Vice President for the East and Central Africa Franchise Unit (ECAFU), Mr Alfred Olajide. During the visit, the delegation was taken through Coca-Cola’s social and economic impact across COMESA member states, with particular focus on Zimbabwe.
