The "M14" weapon found in CS2 weapon script file could actually be an M24 SWS - a bolt-action sniper rifle, which has a non-detachable 5-round magazine with manual bullet-to-bullet reload, unlike M14 with detachable box magazine and higher capacity.
I believe it's another experimental weapon found in CS files that got stuck in experimental change with slight chance of making into the actual game, like previously found TAC-21 sniper rifle.
The actual purpose of "M14" should be considered a subject to change or an accident...
