Death is the only equalizer to bad governance, injustice, and corruption. The powerful and the powerless may live in completely different worlds, but in the end, death reminds everyone that power, wealth, titles, and privilege are temporary. What matters is what we leave behind and how we treated people while we had the chance.

When I told people not to include Restaurant business in this tweet, majority wondered why? Well this video here while very emotional explains why restaurants don’t continue operating when the economy crashes. If thousands of restaurants are closing in America, imagine Africa, let alone Uganda where everything is taxed 5 times. 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 Anyway watch the video.
Name a business that will always make money, regardless to how bad the economy gets. Please Don’t say Restaurant…🤦🏻🙏

If you own a car, you need to have at least UGX 500K lying somewhere for a rainy day like the one I had today. 😂 I started hearing some funny noises from the brakes, so I decided to pass by the garage for a quick check. I thought perhaps the brakes had simply been overworked. Little did I know! After inspection, I was informed that the brake caliper had developed a problem, causing the brakes to wear out. Replacing it alone required UGX 100K. While at the garage, we also had to do skimming. After removing the discs, we discovered that the handbrake shoes were equally worn out, and the actual brake pads also needed replacement. Add labour and transport costs, and just like that, UGX 350K was out of my pocket! 😅 But regardless, this is the same car that helps me make money, so its maintenance is a priority. Beyond that, the convenience and comfort it gives me are unmatched. I’ve therefore decided to make car maintenance a regular item in my monthly budget rather than treating it as an unexpected expense. Speaking of budgets, how many of you actually have weekly or monthly budgets? And how many of you stick to them? 😂 Starting this coming week, I’ll be sharing some insights on financial literacy, budgeting, saving and making better financial decisions. Sometimes financial literacy starts with learning how to prepare for the unexpected. Have a blessed weekend! 🙏

Contrary to Mr President’s Tweet, Wamboga is an actual name in Bugisu and has nothing related to the speech our CDF or any meaning in that regard whatsoever. But i definitely understand the satire in Bobi’s Tweet 😂😂😂😂He cooked this one. A blue Van please 💀☠️
I’m told that following his ‘powerful speech’ in Mbale, the Bamasaba gave him a Gishu name-Wamboga!

Just trick him into delivering another phone as a new client, receive the phone. Balance the cost. If the boda guy or himself delivers and demands for money, Box him. If not organize a gang. End of story. That Lu man doesn’t fear lawyers, just track him down and box him, he will give you your money the next day.

The rate at which people are being diagnosed with BP is honestly very alarming. Just this week, a friend was rushed to hospital unconscious and nearly lost her life. Another one burried her father last weekend after he suffered High BP and shortly after pronounced dead. Early this year, I lost a sister to BP. She was only 37 years. What’s even scarring is, BP used to be for people in their afternoon years unlike today where even the young are dying of BP. Doctors here, is there a way we can revert this? Is it about our lifestyle?
So today I was rushed to hospital because my BP was very high. The doctor asked me to let go of everything stressing me and I agreed to it. Thank God it's been stabilized and I feel much better. But how can we not stress really when things are not working out for us😔.

Behind every Ugandan business that is struggling today because of the high dollar rate is someone who took a risk, borrowed money, invested their savings, and dared to dream of a better future. But when the dollar rate rises, the pain goes far beyond the exchange bureaus. And sadly our government, parliament or those in authority don’t seem to offer any possible solution. A business owner who imports goods has to spend more money to bring in the same products. The cost of machinery, spare parts, raw materials, fuel and other essential supplies goes up. Rent, salaries and other operating expenses still have to be paid. Yet customers are also struggling, and increasing prices is becoming harder because people simply cannot afford as much as they used to. So the business owner is trapped. Increase prices and risk losing customers. Keep prices the same and watch your profits disappear. Some businesses are surviving on borrowed money. Others are cutting jobs, reducing stock, postponing expansion or quietly closing their doors. And behind every struggling business are workers with families to feed, children to educate and bills that cannot wait. What hurts most is that many of these entrepreneurs are not lazy, careless or incapable. They are people who wake up every morning determined to make something work, but the economic pressure keeps getting heavier. And let us remember something: when a business closes, it is not just the owner who suffers. Employees lose jobs. Suppliers lose customers. Landlords lose tenants. Families lose income. The entire economy feels the impact. Yes, a stronger dollar can benefit some exporters and Ugandans receiving money from abroad. But for businesses that depend heavily on imported goods and materials, a rising dollar can be devastating, especially when they cannot pass the extra costs on to their customers. My question is, how do we expect Ugandan businesses to grow, employ more people and contribute to the economy when the cost of doing business keeps rising? We need a business environment where entrepreneurs can plan, invest, employ and grow without constantly fearing that exchange rate movements will wipe out their hard earned progress.

I repeat, Plan your pregnancy, this is not 1980s. Eat good food, feel the love, choose a good mother and father of your kids, don't do stupid things, don't get pregnant for a poor man. And NEVER impregnate a struggling woman.

Plan your pregnancy, this is not 1980s. Eat good food, feel the love, choose a good mother and father of your kids, don't do stupid things, don't get pregnant for a poor man. And NEVER impregnate a struggling woman. Dear my sister, the Ugandan constitution under The children Act, states that both parents have the responsibility of taking care of their children. Or child. Not the man nor the woman but both. Good night my sister Prossy.
STOP GETTING WOMEN PREGNANT IF YOU CAN’T TAKE CARE OF THEM. STOP HAVING CHILDREN YOU’RE NOT READY TO PROVIDE FOR.

You have every single right to decide whether to send money or not, but holding his children responsible for the fact that he never bought you a pen or a success card is a little unfair. What if he honestly didn’t have the ability? During my Senior four registration process, my Late Date asked me to go to my Uncles and get 150k for registration. When I visited them, the best they did was 5K for transport to take me back to town. That experience never left me the same. Fast forward; 15 years later, the same uncles called me repeatedly asking for financial assistance. When I refused and told my dad about it, he was mad at me and asked me to send the money. Because he knew I could afford a ka 200k they’d asked. When I demanded why and reminded him of how they’d treated me back then, he told me they don’t correct a wrong with a wrong. Do good even when they don’t deserve it. You will be blessed more whenever you give. I later sent them the money and forgave them. Life has been good. Never lacked, never struggled. And that’s what I live by now. Many of my relatives saw me struggle but never came through. Today I’m glad I always coming through for them. Sometimes, being in a position to help someone else means breaking a cycle, not continuing it. You don’t have to help, but if you choose not to, let it be because you genuinely can’t or don’t want to, not because someone failed to do the same for you years ago. We can’t keep preaching about breaking generational cycles while demanding that everyone treats us exactly the way we were treated. I honestly mean right here. And I understand you. I was in that same situation too. May we heal from anything our relatives had us go through while we were young.
My uncle just called informing me that his two baby girls are candidates and i should send money and he gets them success cards, I told him “I don’t remember you sending me a success card or buying me a pen” he hang up. I thought communication was key😒

A man's value in a relationship should never be reduced to his ability to pay bills. If a woman is financially stable, a man can still bring leadership, emotional maturity, wisdom, protection, loyalty, companionship and vision
