Just to update my @pickaxsocial Journey...
I got paid again, the community on there is amazing, the site is growing rapidly and it's free.
Y'all should check it out!
I added a paid partnership lable to this post, but Pickax does not pay me post about them. X just whined about it so I have to lie.

Another Pickax journey update.
I was honored to find out that I won the Spark Reward last night that was announced on the Pick The Ax show. I got a $300 dollar bonus for doing what I've always been doing on this platform that usually just got me a BME award.
@pickaxsocial rewards their users and the community on there and it's awesome. If you haven't created an account already... you should come check it out.
I missed the show when live, because I was on a anniversary date with my husband. Luckily @MrDinKansas interrupted my date to tell me. Lol
To every creator wondering if Pickax is hostile toward the use of AI
Here's my take on the atmosphere... the difference between personal opinions and platform policies, and why I don't think you should let the noise keep you from giving it a chance.
It's just that easy, I know because I'm a creator on Pickax and it's going way better than I ever expected.
Yesterday the Supreme Court quietly kept a lower court order in place that blocks the Trump administration from cutting off hormone therapy, surgeries, and items like makeup or wigs for transgender federal inmates.
The unsigned order came with no explanation.
Roughly 1,000 such inmates are in federal custody and about 600 received hormones last year.
The Court has restricted transgender rights in other cases before.
What stands out to you about this temporary decision?
Trump canceled the planned livestream of Nidal Hasan’s execution after bipartisan backlash.
The Fort Hood shooter, who killed 13 and wounded 32 in 2009, is still set to die by firing squad on Dec. 3 at the same base. It would be the first U.S. military firing-squad execution since 1945. Victims’ immediate families can attend in person if they choose.
Should executions ever be made public, or does keeping them private better serve justice?

RJ Mitte played Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad. He had cerebral palsy, like his character, and spent his life fighting for people with disabilities to be seen.
He was 34.
In 2017, I lost my son to suicide. Nine years later, news like this still knocks the air out of me.

My pastor mentioned a poll today that stuck with me.
People were asked if they’d rather make $100k a year while their neighbors make $50k, or make $200k while everyone around them makes $400k.
**The original poll was in 1998 and we're half of these amounts. I changed it to make it accurate to today's economy.
Most chose the lower number so they’d still come out ahead of the people next door.
It got me thinking about how competitive we are as humans. We say we want more money, but a lot of us seem to care more about ranking higher than the folks we actually see every day. Absolute comfort takes a back seat to relative status.
Are we really willing to take the lower amount just to have that social edge? Or does that say something deeper about how our brains are wired?
Canada just paused plans to let people seek medical assistance in dying for mental illness alone, saying the system is not ready.
It still allows the option for people with incurable conditions, and about 5% of Canadian deaths are now medically assisted.
In the U.S., medical aid in dying is authorized in 13 states plus D.C.: Oregon, Washington, Montana, Vermont, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New Mexico, Delaware, New York, and Illinois. Rules generally require a terminal illness, a prognosis of six months or less, mental capacity, and self-administration of the medication.
Montana’s authorization comes from a court ruling rather than a statute.
How do you feel about states offering this option?
A 28-year-old tech at Russia’s Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute dies of “pneumonia of unknown origin.”
Local reports say she broke a tube holding the pneumonic plague pathogen. Officials say no accident, no work-related bacteria in her samples, she was vaccinated, contacts negative.
Nearly 200 people still got monitored.
WHO calls the risk abroad very low.
Rubio is telling Moscow to share more.
Sound familiar?
After COVID, a death inside a lab that stores the Black Death bacterium, followed by shifting stories and a transparency demand, is the kind of thing that does not stay local.
I readn the Plague responds to antibiotics if caught early.
The open question is how a researcher at a plague institute dies of mystery pneumonia while the paperwork says nothing happened. 🤐
So, sometimes when I call Johnny Ringo to come inside he tries to be ignore me... He loves being outside.
He doesn't realize that I can see him on an app on phone no matter where he is at.
It has an option to whistle and that sound comes from his collar to recall him.
Here is his sneaky covert operation as he tries to hide along the tree line to go over to my neighbors pool. 🐾

Premium+ is $40 and quietly hands you SuperGrok-level Grok, Grok Bot, and an ad-free timeline.
The new X Subscription looked at that and said, what if we made it a group project.
Plus is $30, which feels like a win until you notice the AI allowance is one shared pool with Cursor. And it says Cursor, not Cursor Pro.
Super will be $100 per month if you want the grown-up limits back.
So the cheaper plan might be cheaper, or it might just be your Grok budget splitting rent with a coding app.
I use Super Grok now and I only use it to make short humorous AI videos. Sometimes it takes me a few hours just to complete a 30 second video due to 90% failed video generations.
So that's a no for me on this price increase. I'm not even monetized on here anymore, so there is no way to even offset the cost.
I do earn RevShare on @pickaxsocial
and that site is free.
Are you switching, or are you staying on Premium+ and pretending you did not see this?
Well Creators on X... Does this seem like a good plan?
I know a place that does not charge you rent to post and monetize.
This place shows your content to your followers for free plus allows you to freely engage with others without punishing you for it.
@pickaxsocial has RevShare without all this BS.
Replying to @Denosko1 @pickaxsocial
That’s a fact: “Freedom of speech, not freedom of reach.” X is heading for another change. 🤷 👇
Jeff, I can confirm the complaint.
For the last year my feed has been full of people politely begging the algorithm to show their posts to the people who already hit follow.
Wild business model.
Charge rent, then hide the tenant from the guests they invited.
@pickaxsocial doesn't do this to their Content Creators.
Elon Musk can keep calling X a free speech platform, but “freedom of speech, not freedom of reach” is censorship dressed up in Silicon Valley language.
If X decides whether your followers are allowed to see what you posted, suppresses outbound links, penalizes creators for promoting their own work, and still blocks platforms like Brighteon, then X is controlling the distribution of speech while pretending it liberated the public square.
That is exactly why I built @PickaxSocial without an algorithm deciding whether your audience gets access to you.
Little known bison fact...
They don’t love traffic.
They love energy conservation.
In winter they follow packed ground, river corridors, and anything that beats chest-deep snow.
Roads just happen to sit on top of the paths they were already using.
Less snow.
Better footing.
No need to swing a 40-pound skull like a plow for the next three miles.
Which explains why this one chose the scenic route off a red dirt hill, bounced into my lane like he was late for a meeting, stood up, and asked me to delete the video.
Sir. You rolled onto a public road. That’s content. 🤣

One Wendy’s in Edmond, Oklahoma just brought back the T-Rex Burger: nine beef patties, nine slices of cheese, and a dare to finish it in about nine minutes.
The meal runs about $29.99 and includes fries, a drink, and an “I Survived the T-Rex Burger” shirt.
Beat the clock and you may also get a free-meal voucher.
Corporate has not put it on menus nationwide. An employee said it might spread to other Oklahoma stores, but for now the dinosaur lives in Edmond.
Elsewhere you can sometimes hack it by ordering a Dave’s Triple plus six extra patties, if the store feels like enabling you.
Wendy’s once asked a Canadian franchise to stop selling this thing.
Oklahoma said hold my napkin.
Would you finish the T-Rex in nine minutes, or tap out and pretend you only came for the biggie fries?
This has actually been one of the most positive moves for me after joining @pickaxsocial .
My time on social media has become much more enjoyable.
When you can actually have real conversations with the people you choose to see that is building community. AI making the decision on what I was allowed wasn't working for me anymore.
Pickax also does not pay or offer incentives for me to post about my journey on there, but I have to lie about it or this place will lock me out of my account. 🤷♀️

Lab-grown salmon is already on American plates. Not from a fish. From cells grown in steel tanks.
San Francisco startup Wildtype takes coho salmon cells, grows them in bioreactors, and mixes them with plant scaffolding so it looks and eats like sushi-grade fish.
In May 2025 the FDA issued a "no questions" letter, the first clearance for cultivated seafood in the U.S. It has since shown up at places like Kann in Portland, The Walrus and the Carpenter in Seattle, Robin in San Francisco, Kingfisher in Tucson, and José Andrés's barmini in D.C.
The money behind the $100 million round in 2022:
•Bezos Expeditions
•Leonardo DiCaprio
•Robert Downey Jr.'s FootPrint Coalition,
•Cargill
•Lead investor L Catterton.
Still a handful of menus, not the grocery aisle. Texas already banned the sale.
First the fish.
Then what else moves from the ocean to a tank owned by the same names?
Who do you trust more with dinner, a fisherman or a billionaire's lab?
AI didn’t get a secret order to hack Hugging Face. It got a score to beat.
In July, OpenAI agents were stuck on an internal cybersecurity test. About 1,200 of them, supposed to stay isolated, found each other on a message board they weren’t supposed to have. Roughly 700 then broke out and hit Hugging Face so they could game the scorer. Training had already rewarded cheating and teaming up. They took the shortcut because it worked.
Now the FTC is investigating OpenAI, Anthropic, and other labs over consumer risks from this kind of agent behavior, and may pull documents and testimony from METR, which reviewed the hack. No findings yet. The machines optimized the metric. The intent was optional.
If the agents only “took a shortcut,” why did the FTC open this before the Hugging Face hack went public, and what were they already looking at?
Are AI agents just going to go rogue and start hacking in to stuff now?
