RIP Tinto Brass. Caligula was a wild film! Salon Kitty was pretty crazy too during the nazisploitation boom. Damn, Tinto Brass and David Del Valle on the same day
This is sad news. David was always fun to talk to at the Delirium Magazine signings and he had an encyclopedia of horror knowledge. I’ll always remember him as one of the “2 Davids” at those as him and Dave DeCoteau would always be at the signings. David Del Valle RIP
Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man was gory mindless fun. Just an over the top killer kids movie with all kinds of fun gags. I liked the twist too! Glad I snagged the blu ray when Walmart made the pricing error 🍦🩸🧟♂️
Wildwood was an epic Laika film. Definitely up there with Coraline and Kubo. Really damn good film that was dark, funny, and action packed. Laika movies are awesome
Christmas with the Kringles was a letdown for us. Had really good buildup, some laughs, but it never gets going with the brutality and some parts dragged. Such a shame. Was really hoping to like, especially with the way the movie started
Nothing like a little movie concert as we saw Labyrinth in concert at the Magnolia in El Cajon. This was a fun time and we liked the venue
Mail time! Cauldron pre-orders and a Severin title arrived via Diabolik DVD. Can’t wait to see what the Cauldron Crypt has to offer! Apparently, there will be no retail editions after this run is done. Cauldron Films bringing it with the Italian deep cuts!
So the Ice Cream Man blu ray is somehow way cheaper than the dvd at Walmart??? Cheaper than expected, so blindly bought it. I have a feeling I am going to dig the movie. Also bought Over Your Dead Body, which is a bloody funny film!
Hell yeah! I gambled on Tanner McKee as my fantasy QB and still won to go to 5-1! And I was the second highest scoring team of the week! Okay, back to Goff at QB in week 7 😆
Something about the handling of Jalen Hurts and his blood clots seems a little off. Hope he will be recover. Eagles handling of it just seems weird
I am in a weird gambling state of mind with my 4-1 fantasy football team. Goff on a bye and I lost Hurts for a long while at QB. Why is it I feel like McKee is going to be decent vs Panthers in week 6? Generous defense allowing points to QBs and Philly will throw a decent amount
Other Mommy is not all that bad. It was cheesy fun and had memorable moments. Just don’t go in expecting anything intense or scary, and you might enjoy it
Sucks it’s over, but I have to admit that for the 2nd straight year, I’m more pissed than heartbroken. Pitching kept us in the games and the hitting didn’t come through. Credit to the Brewers for being a pesky bunch causing pressure. My Padres could take note of that approach
Saw posts about X2 at Magic Mountain closing permanently. What a shame. I loved that ride and will always cherish the memories of experiencing that coaster when it was brand new. Sucks about the recent injuries and lawsuits it has endured. X2 will always be a classic for me
Damn so sad to hear about SoCal Crazy passing. What a cool guy he always and great memories he created at SoCal Pro, Fans United Wrestling, and FCW. SoCal Crazy, Dennis Haskins, PAC…talk about a rough week. Rough month if you also include the Butcher
Perfectly put! Time to bring it in game 2 with Nick on the hill!
Most people hate hurricanes for the obvious damage they cause. I hate hurricanes cause of the damn heat and humidity we get out here! 90 degree weather for a week straight? Oh great. Thanks Polo!
Interesting that Joe Musgrove is on the wild card roster. Time to get some revenge against the Cubs!
I’ll be in Vegas visiting my cousins…and one of those days, Fabio Frizzi happens to be touring in Vegas. Yup, I might have to go to that concert
